Providing and fixing G.I. barbed wire, of size 2.5mm x 2.0 mm TYPE A LOWA TYPE (weight to be not less than 108 gms per meter length), conforming to I.S. code 278, duly dipped in anticorrosive bitumastic paint (average thickness 45 micron), fixing to the existing M.S. angle iron posts placed at 3.0 m c/c in 21 horizontal rows (15 rows in vertical portion and 6 rows in slantingportion)and stretched with existing M.S. Hooks/ tightening bolts,with two sets of cross diagonals (one on vertical portion and other on slanting portion) and also properly inter woven upto 7th row with G.I. barbed wire of same specifications, fixing each row of barbed wire to intermediate angle iron post between tightening bolts with split cotter pins of size 5x22 (conforming to IS-549 steel), all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing G.I. barbed wire duly dipped in anticorrosive bitumastic paint (45 micron Av. thickness) and of size 2.5mm x 2.0mm Type A Iowa type (weight to be not less than 108 gms per meter) conforming to IS code 278-1978 in 9 horizontal rows to be fixed to existing M.S. posts placed at every 3000 mm c/c and stretched with existing M.S. hooks/tightening bolts, with two diagonals of same G.I. barbed wire and subsequently to be fixed to angle iron posts holes with split cotter pins 5x22 conforming to IS-459 steelcomplete as per direction of Engineer-in charge

Providing, laying and fixing galvanized punched tape concertina coil, 1050 mm dia (when closed) weighting not less than 15.2 kg each coil, having galvanized spring cold drawn steel core wire of 2.5 mm dia, galvanized punched tape of low carbon steel having series of sharp barbs uniformly punched along its length having 550 nos. of barbs on periphery per revolution and crimped on steel spring core wire, havingG.I. steel wire handles hooked to coil for handling& M.S. square bars hooked with coil having pointed face foranchorage, duly dipped in anticorrosivebitumastic paint, including spreading each coil uniformly in 10 meter length, including adequately tying to the existing G.I. barbed wire fencing with G.I. wire of not less than 16 gauge at every 1m spacing, tying the handles of succeeding coil with preceding coil with G.I. wire of not less than 16 gauge, proper anchoring of spikes at start and end of the coil , all as per drawingand as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Credit to Govt. by dismantling and taking away the G.I. barbed wire (in three rows)from existing three rows fencing fixed withangle iron posts at average spacing of 3.0 m concertina coils & diagonal barbed wire safely without damage to steel section or alignment of existing angle iron posts, collecting all the dismantled barbed wires at identified places, removing all such dismantled materials (except angle iron post) from the site, clearing and cleaning the site from all such dismantled materials & small pieces,all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-i) The contractor shall make themselves acquainted with existing pattern of three rows fencing as per the actual site.Ii) This item is applicable for fencing actually available at site on \"as is where is basis\". Iii) All the dismantled materials viz. barbed wire &concertina coils) shall be the property of contractor for further disposal.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture.

Removing old paint in angle iron post with patti, sand paper etc. and preparing the surface smooth for painting as required at site as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
