To, The Chief Engineer,Chennai Port Authority,.Gentlemen,Having Examined the general and special conditions of the contract and Employers requirementsincluding all attachements thereto, the receipt of which is hereby duly acknowledged, offer to perform the services in conformity with the set conditions of the contract on Lumpsum amount in accordance with the scope of work attached herwith and made part of this bid.2. The lumpsum price offer is inclusive of all incidental, overheads and considering the provision of taxes as per terms of condition of Technical bid.3.The quoted rate in price bid does not include GST, applicable GST will be reimbursed as per actuals, after producing paid Tax invoices by the Contractor.4.Abide by this bid for a period of 120 days from the last date of online submission of offer and it shall remain binding upon and may be accepted at any time before expiration of that period.We understand that you are not bound to accept the lowest or any bid you may receive.5. I/We agree to accept all tender conditions and the stagewise payments as detailed in the Technical bid.

1. Strengthening and upgradation of Jawahar Dock entrance walls at Chennai Port by constructing Diaphragm wall (86.30m approx.) fronted piled structureof width 24.10m (approx) supported by in situ bored piles, slab, beam and other fittings including demolising and removing the existing steel/concrete caissons structures etc.,at Western side of JD entrance and construction of Combined Steel sheet pile wall on the front face with anchor pile at Eastern side of JD entrance.After the strengthening and upgradation of JD entrance walls, the effective width of JD entrance shall increase from the present width of 35m to 56.9m.
