| 1 | Note :- The entire contract shall be operated for the period of 09 months from the date of acceptance. The work shall be executed on the requirement basis as directed by Eng-in-charge during currency of contract. It will be the responsibility of contractor to maintain the sewage system functional throughout contract periods irrespective of value of work that may be ordered during the period of contract.The contractor or his authorised representative shall report to Engineer-in-charge (or the person deputed by him) at 9:00 hours daily to receive the complaints pertaining to cleaning of sewage lines. The Engineer-in-charge will issue Job Card to attend the complaints and the Job Card shall be returned by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge on the given date and time after attending the complaints. The Job Card should bear user‟s signature of satisfactory completion of complaints. In case contractor or his authorised representative fails to report to Engineer-in-charge at 9:00 hours daily to receive the complaints pertaining to cleaning of sewage lines, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty @ Rs 1500/- per day and similarly he fails to attend the complaints pertaining to cleaning of sewage lines, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty @ Rs 500/- per day per complaint. In case of any dispute regarding imposition of penalty, the decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding. |
