annual Maintenance Of Ultadanga Flyover.- 1 Providing and applying primer coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS:8887-1978 and requisite quantity on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer using Mechanical means including cost and carriage of bitumen emulsion and all other incidental costs of work complete as per Clause 502 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). For WBM / WMM Surface:(with primer @ 0.85 kg/sqm) 2 Providing and applying tack coat with Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade conforming to IS: 8887-1978 on the prepared surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom, moistening the surface including cost and carriage of emulsion, hire charges of machinery and labour, cost of fuel and lubricants all complete as per Clause 503 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).(i) On Bituminous Surface(Using Bitumen Emulsion at the rate of 0.20 to 0.30 kg per sqm.) 3 Providing and laying bituminous macadam with Mobile Hot Mix Plant (Light Duty) using approved crushed aggregates of specified grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site laid over a previously prepared surface at specified laying temperature by means of approved and suitable arrangements to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled with suitable power roller for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling as per specification to achieve the desired compaction including cost and carriage of stone materials and bitumen, hire charges of machinery and equipment, cost of fuel and lubricants and wages of operational staff, quality control complete as per Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).For Grading II, 50mm thick. 4 Providing and laying bituminous concrete with Hot Mix Plant using coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler materials and bituminous binder of required specification including screening, cleaning of chips and preparing a uniform and quality mix in Hot Mix Plant and ensuring a homogeneous mix, in which all particles of the mineral aggregates are coated uniformly, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying the mixed materials at specified laying temperature with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment over prepared surface coated with tack coat, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers for break down, inter-mediate and finished rolling to achieve the desired density of at least 98% of that of Laboratory Marshall specimen, including cost and carriage of bitumen, coarse and fine aggregates and filler materials and hire charges of machinery and equipment for construction and quality control, fuels and lubricants and wages of operational staff complete as per Clause 507 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).A. For Grading 1 (19 mm nominal size, 50 mm thick.)(i) Using Batch Type HMP of minimum capacity 100-120 TPH. 5 Repairing pot-holes and making up small depressions using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion conforming to IS 8887- 1978 with stone metals / chips premixed with emulsion in concrete mixer or any other method approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, including cutting the pot-hole area in regular shapes with vertical edges, thorough cleaning & moistening of surface, applying tack coat, filling up the potholes with pre-mixed metals/chips in layer/layers as per specification and direction of the Engineer-incharge, compacting by power roller, finishing the top of repaired surface levelled with adjoining area including cost and carriage of stone aggregates, blinding material & bitumen emulsion, hire & running charges of rollers and other tools & plants, cost of fuel & lubricants and other incidental charges excluding cost of applying tack coat. [Using stone chips of size 22.4 mm and 11.2 mm in 60: 40 proportion, premixing with bitumen emulsion @ 70.7 kg per m3 of loose net volume of stone chips.] 6 Dismantling horrizontal member of hight barrier, at different locations on E.M Bypass and VIP Road ,by removing nuts and bolts and other fasteners welding etc., keeping the dismantled members in safe custody under full security for safe passage of VVIPs convoy to and fro on Airport Kolkata route and refixing / reinstallation of the same to its original position/condition by engaging the mechanical device such as hydra ,including hire charges of machinery, cost of fuel and lubricants and charges of operator/driver including all incidental charges complete as per the direction of the EIC .(N.B. Any material such as steel pipe /ISMB/Cleat, gusset plates ,nuts and bolts and welding etc. will be paid separately) 7 Retro-Reflectorised Traffic Signs Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on horizontal member of height barrier.80 cm x 60 cm rectangular 8 Drainage Spouts in Superstructure including providing drip mouldings and also including supplying, fitting and fixing approved type of materials complete as per drawing and Technical specification vide clause no. 2705 of MoRT&H’s Specification for Road & Bridge Works 9 100 mm thick interlocking designer concrete paver block M-50 grade for hightraffic zone, bus terminus, industrial complex, mandi houses etc. as per IS: 15658-2006 (over 20-40 mm medium sand bed on 250mm thk WBM/ WMM base course & 250 mm thk bound gnaular/ granular sub-base course & filling the intersticesof blocks with fine sand by brooming & subsequent watering including cost of sand for sand bed but excluding cost of base, sub-base course & subgrade preparation.) complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Grey 10 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). 11 Supplying & laying as per IRC-SP:063-2004 paver unit of any shade of approved quality as per relevant IS code, laid in pattern as directed in pavement, footpath, driveway (paver block only), etc including necessary underlay complete in all respect with all labour and material.[Border concrete if necessary to be paid separately].(a) 25 mm thick Tiles as per IS: 1237-2012 for footpath,ramp,staircase of public building(over 25 mm thick(Avg) Cement mortar (1:3) & Cement Slurry @ 4.4 kg/Sq.m atback side of Block. Cement for Mortar & Slurry to be supplied by Department). 12 Sand filling in foundation trenches and at the back of abutments, wing-walls etc. with good local sand free from earth in layers not exceeding 15 cm. including inundating each layer by profuse water and poking and ramming layer by layer complete including supply of sand. Quality of sand is to be approved by the Engineer-in-charge. 13 M.S. work in Rolled steel joists, channels, angles. Tees, plates etc. including hoisting, placing in position including providing staging and removing after completion of works and cutting to sizes as required excluding necessary nuts & bolts and cost of welding. (i) Plate 10mm to 20 mm 14 (ii) Upto 200 mm size 15 (ii) Above 200 mm & Upto 400 mm size 16 Washing & cleaning the wall surface & ceiling by soft detergent powder & soft water & render the surface free of dust, stain etc. 17 Providing, laying and rolling of Bituminous cold mix on prepared base consisting of a mixture of unheated mineral aggregate and emulsified,including mixing in a Plant of suitable type and capacity, transporting, laying, compacting and finishing to specified grades and levels as per Clause 518 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).Using 9.5mm or 13.2 mm nominal size aggregate 18 Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed.
