| 1 | Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, then sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5kg/10sqm, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 2 | Material and Labour for laying bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30 grade, mixed in computerised Hot Mix Plant and spread by means of self propelled Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical power road rolled 8 to 10 tonnes capacity, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :- (i) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work.(ii) In the event of variation in the mix design in the percentage of the binder content on minus side, the difference in quantity of binder content will be adjusted through supply only rate of Rs 36.0 per Kg of grade of VG-30 bitumen. However no adjustment shall be applicable is excess quantity of binder content is used/approved in the execution of work under this item. |
| 3 | Material and Labour for applying 25mm thick mastic asphalt consisting of an intermate homogeneous mixture on mineral filler, well graded fine and coarse aggregate industrial grade 85/25 bitumen as per IS 73 of 2006 cooked at 170 degree to 200 degree centigrade laid hot trowelled and floated by means of woodenfloatbitumenmastic after spreading and while still hot in plasticcondition shall spread overwith bituminousprecoated fineaggregate of size 20mm @ 0.005 Cum per 10 Sqm mixed with 0.17 Kg per Sqm of industrial bitumengrade 85/25 for antistaciding including all material, labour, tools and plantsall as specified and directed.Note :- The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. |

| 5 | Material and Labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like not exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot appliedthermo-plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
