| 2 | Supply and layingductile iron (DI) pressure pipes with spigot and socketed ends, class K-9 , ISI marked (IS 8329-2000), internally lined with cement mortar as per IS 8329-2000, externally coated with Zinc 130gsm and finishing layer of bitumen (70 microns) as per IS 8329-2000, jointing with and including rubber gasket joints; including fixing of fittings with and including suitable jointing material, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Note-Supply only fittings like bends, tapers, etc. shall be measured and paid for separately under item No 07here after) |
| 3 | Material & labour for relaying of servicable DI pipe of 150 mm dia obtained from item No 32 here-in-before and reuse after cleaning the mouth of old servicable pipe with replacement of jointing material i.e. rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge |
| 4 | Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5m wide and not exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes pier holes etc not exc. 10sqm on plan and not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in Soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. ( Note - Trenches shall be excavated for water supply pipe lines all as detailed under MES Schedule Part-I clause 18.42 to 18.42.6). |
| 5 | Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm of soils complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |

| 8 | Supply & fix in replacement cast iron sluice valves of size 150 mm diawith flanged ends, class I PN 1.0, heavy duty, ISI marked, drilled type, non raising type, IS-14846-2000 mark,including iron wheel, stainless steel spindle, complete with suitable rubber insertion 3mm thick at both ends with and including nuts, bolts and washers,fixed with and including suitable joints; fixing & jointing connected fittings like tapers,etc. including suitable jointing material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Material & labour for construction of valve chamber with MS sheet cover 3 mm thick with angle iron frame of size 50x50x6 mm, double door type and with locking arrangements including excavationand earth work in any type of soil,PCC (1:4:8) type D2 as in foundation, PCC benching 1:2:4 type B-1, PCC (1:5:8) block masonry 20 cm thick in cement mortar (1:6), 10 mm thick plastering in CM 1:4, PCC bed in (1:3:6), painting one coat of red oxide and two coats of bituminous black paint on all steel surfacescomplete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge of size 1050 mm x 1050 mm x 1000 mm type C (internal dimensions).(Note:- Rate of above item shall include the cost of demolition of existing valve chamber). |
