| 1 | S&F in repairs Rubber arch fender of size 2000mm x595 / 195mm width at bottom and top respectively x 300 mm depthand fixed vertically on the vertical face of jetty sea face wall with eight numbers M24 SS 304 bolts of length 285mm as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Rubber as per ASTM D-2000-12. The Properties of the rubber used shall be as follows :-Deflection - 51.5%, Reaction force - 25.3 Ton, Energy absorption - 2.95 ton / Mtr with a tolerance of - +10%.Before aging : Tensile strength not less than 17 mpa , Elongation shall not be less than 350% as per ASTM D 412, Hardness Max 70 + 5º, Shore A as per ASTM D2240. |
| 2 | After aging at 96 hours at 70 º : The tensile strength not less than 80%, Elongation not less than 80% as per ASTM D 412 hardness +8º shore A as per ASTM 2240, tear strength shall not be less than70 KN/m, Compression set at 70ºC for 22 hours 25% maximum- as per ASTM D 395, abrasion resistance Maximum 1.5CC as per BS 903 A9 and Ozone resistance - no cracks as per ADSTM D 1171. All the above test reports shall be provided by the manufacturer.Necessary factory inspection during manufacturing process shall be arranged by the bidder. Note: The item rate shall include the cost of SS M24 bolt, Nuts and chemical for fixing the bolt as recommended andsupplied by the manufacturer of rubber fender. |
| 3 | S&F Rubber fender of size 2000mm x 300mm x 200mm depth(or in short lengths to suit the site requirements) and fixed as kerbs on the top of sea face jetty wall with four numbers M24 SS 304 bolts of length 285mm. The fender shall be fixed with a MS galvanized flat of size 100mm X 12mm covering the full length of the fender as directed by Engineer-in-charge. The Properties of the rubber used shall be as follows :- Before aging : Tensile strength not less than 17 MPa, Elongation shall not be less than 350% as per ASTM D412, Hardness Max 70 + 5º, Shore ‘A’ as per ASTM D2240. |

| 5 | Taking down existig Rubber arch fender in any position of any size and length n exc 4Rm in each fender and refixing the same in the same or other location as directed incl repaior to sea face wall making good with microconcrete with Rendroc SP40 of FOSROC SP40 having compressive strength 40mp and replacing corroded bolts with M24 304 bolts as required at site as directed |
| 6 | Removing worn out bollard foundation bolts and fixing of new HILTI bolts on the berth end by following activities all as specified and directed :-(a)Providing temporary arrangements using 12 mm thick MS plate and angle iron stiffeners of suitable size for holding down core drilling machine system in required position.(b)Drilling hole in RCC (by using core drilling machine with diamond core bit) of 100 mm dia to a depth of 510mm.(c) Removal of existing dia foundation bolt and cleaning the whole with Air Blower and Cleaning Brush. (d) Filling the whole with Fosroc GP-2.(d) Supply and fixing of HILTI 39mm dia 700mm length 8.8 Grade threaded rod with RE500V4 chemical to a depth of 510mm with necessary drillig hole. |
| 7 | Material and labour for conducting vertical pull test on the new HILTI HAS-E bolt using hydraulic testing machine for recommended pulling capacity of 16.64 tonne per bolt all as specified and directed.Note: - (i) The test shall be carried out on the selected bolts as decided by accepting officer and the results shall be recorded in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) Failed bolts to be re-fitted by procedure as peritem No 01 above, no extra payment paid againstthese jobs. |
| 8 | Material and labour for cleaning the core as made side item Nos. 1b & 2b herein before and removing the dust using electrically driven hot air blower and filling the entire core with polymer base mortar (micro concrete of grade M-70-non hilti material) FOSROC Renderoc-RG as per manufacturer’s instructions and cured for 72 hours complete all as specified and directed. |
| 9 | Material and labour for cutting core of size 42 mm dia and 360 mm deep in the filling of polymer based mortar, as filled vide item No.3 herein before in exact angle as required, the material surfaces of the core shall be roughened using special bushing bit, clean the core and removing the dust using electrically driven air blower, injecting in the core 400 ml heavy duty adhesive chemical HILT HIT-RE 500, from the bottom of hole in order to avoid air pockets complete all as specified and directed. |
| 10 | Supply and insert HAS-E ductile steel galvanized threaded rod 39 mm dia and 510 mm long of grade 8.8 of make HILTI India Pvt. Ltd. indicating embedment depth mark with washer and nut of galvanized steel with strength class 8, washer shall be 72 mm dia 1 No. each at base and top and nut shall be of 59 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.Note: - The rod shall be inserted in the adhesive chemical as filled vide item No.4 herein before, before it cures.Inclinometer shall be used to maintain the required angle.Nuts and washer shall be fixed on the rod after the rod in set for 42 hours. |
| 11 | Material and labour for cleaning and removing all scales and dire from and around the existing bollard bolt by wire brushes for cracking the nut of existing anchor bolt with pressure/ manual operated nut cracker without damaging the existing threads and cleaning the existing anchor bolt using the product of Henkel Adhesive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. –“ Loctite” – Solution with ODC free cleaner and degreaser Product code – 22355 with hot water and leave dry the anchor bolt and fixing new bollard nut of mild steel having inner dia 63 mm and outer dia not less than 72 mm and weight not less than 760 grams with 3 mm thick washers minimum 02 Nos. of outer dia 88 mm along with lock set chemical of “Loctite” solvent base medium strength thread locker Loctite243 in the gap between nut and anchor bolt complete all as specified and directed.Make of Anti rustcleaner & Thread locker :- LOCTITE |
| 12 | Material & labour for periodical maintenance of existing (old) stainless steel of post & railing of any size/any description of hand rails/ladders etc with emery paper, tack powder, soft clothsetc, for cleaning the stain marks/scaling on the exposed surfaces of SS pipes and buffing with hand machine etc, complete all as specified and directed. |
