Providing and carry out RCC slab waterproofing treatment to sound moisture free concrete. Surface preparation includes removing of loose loose dust, dirt, laitance, removing loose mortar, sharp projections, grinding/shot blasting/ scarifying for mechanical key, application of Nitoprime 25(M) – EpoxyPenetrating primer coverage @ 6-8 m2/ltr, allow the primer to become tack free, followed by mixing and application ofNitoproof ET Slurry or equivalent at 3 mm thickness to deck slab followed by broadcasting of 1-3 mm thick well graded surface dressing aggregates must be applied immediately after laying the Nitoproof ET Slurry or equivalent etc. complete as per manufacturer’s specifications. Cured Nitoproof ET Slurry or equivalent should possess below mentioned properties: Water permeability BSEN 12390 P8 (BD47) : Nil (at 5 bar pressure), Water absorption (ASTM C413) : Nil, Compressive strength (ASTM C579) : >45N/mm2 , Resistance to high temperature ASTM D1227 (BD47) : No sign or dripping at 1500C during asphalt placing Resistance to chisel impact (BD47) : No cracks or indentation were observed , Adhesion to concrete (BS1881 P207) : Greater than the tensile strength of concrete Resistance to Pin/Blow holing : No blisters or pin holes, Dynamic crack bridging ability : 1.0mm (BD47, with full aggregate scatter), make : Fosroc/ Nippon/ Choksey (PSR)
