Necessary Civil Works Related To Converting Of Normal Class Room - Room No. 31- To Smart Class Room Cum Seminar Room Of Home Science Department In Viharilal College Campus At 20B, Judges Court Road , Kolkata - 27 Under University Of Calcutta.- 1 Stripping off worn out plaster and raking out joints of walls, celing etc. upto any height and in any floor including removing rubish and staking any where within the compound as directed. Area : 2 Applying 2 coats of bonding agent with synthetic multifunctional rubber emulsion having adhesive and water proofing properties by mixing with water in proportion (1 bonding agent : 4water : 6 cement) as per manufacturer specifications. 3 Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints or rougening of concrete surface, including throating, nosing and drip course where necessary (ground floor) /with 6:1 cement morter / 20 mm thick. 4 Rendering the surface of walls and ceiling with white cement based water proof wall putty of approved make and brand.. (thickness not less than 1.5 mm.) 5 Removing old scales, blisters etc. of interior surface of walls,ceiling by scraping etc. and preparing smooth and even surface with rendering or cement mortar (2:1) (as necessary), to make the surface suitable for receiving distemper. (Payment against this item will be made only when this has been done on the specific direction of the Engineer-in-charge).area : 12.8+6.6)2x3.5+12.8x6.6 =220.28 6 Applying interior grade acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or concrete surface old or new surface to receive distemper / acrylic emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturers specification and as per direction of EIC./ two coats/ solventbased interior grade Acrylic primer. 7 Labour charges for chipping of theartificial stone floor before taking up the flooring works. 8 Supplying and laying true to line and level double charges vitrified tilesof approved brand conforming to IS 15622: 2006 ( Group B 1a) testedas per IS 13630:2006 ( relevant parts) ( Non modular sizes for tiles with water absorption (av.) < 0.08%) i in floor, skirting etc.using polymerised adhesive of 6 mm thick layer applied directly over finished artificial stone floor / mosaic etc. without any backing course ans joints grouted with admixture of white epoxy grout materials of approved brand including spacer -2 mm as directed and removal of wax coating at top surface of tiles with warm waterand polishing the tiles using soft and dry cloth upto mirror finish complete including the cost of materials, labour and all other incidental charges complete as per direction of Engineer in charge.Size not less than 600 mm x600 mm x905 m thick) in third floor . 9 Hydraulic door closer of approved quality as per I.S.I.Standard fitted and fixed complete./ medium ( Godrej) 10 Supplying, fitting and fixing of false ceilingframe work with powder coatedexposed G.I grid suspension system ( E grid U-1520 or equivalentload carrying capacity with mid span deflection not exceeding 1/360 span with hanger spacing of 1200 mm c/c consisting of main runner 3600 mm long crosss tee 1200 mm / 600 mm long and wall angle. The wall angle shall be fixed on PVC dash fasteners on the perimetre of the wall by steel screws with distance 300 c/c . the main runners to be placed @ 1200 mm. The cross Tee 1200 will be inserted in the pre cut slots of main runner at a regular interval of 600 mm to form a modular grid of 1200 mm x 600 mm.
