Name of Work: Running and Maintenance of SWRO Plant at Bitra Island, in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep for a period of 2(two) years

Carrying out of day to day & periodical maintanace of 1 No. of Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant (Model- STDC/SY 9000 & Serial number- 010611060) of cappacity 25000 litre/dayat Bitra island using chemicals and spares mentioned below in subsequent para\"s, including pump set installed in shallow wells and pump house also including replacement of gland packing, MCBs/MCCBs for LT switch, for shallow well to deliver water supply upto raw water sump, from raw water sump to treated water sump and treated water sump upto delivery point for one shift (10AM to 5 PM) every day by employing 1 FGM (Qualification not less than ITI or equivalent) per shift as specified and as directed. The work envisaged under this contract are as follows:-(a) cleaning the unit of the plant and tanks regulrly, backwashing and dosing of chemical time to time, (b) Maintanance of the plant by employing qulified servicer as required and as directed by the Engineer in Charge, (c) Regular maintanance of pump such as oiling, greasing, motor shaft, pipes, minor rectification and replacement of minor parts such as nuts and bolts etc, pipes of small quantity, minor parts of pump, electrical wiring etc. NOTES: (A) Contractor shall provide required T&P and safety gadgets (as per IE rules) to technician employed by him in order to minimise breakdown and offers smooth functioning of RO plant in the station.(B) All consumable and spares required to ensure efficient maintanance and operation of the plant shall be measured and paid seperately under relavant items as supply only rates. (C) The item consumed and spares mentioned here-in-after for replacement will be as per actual at the site. These items will be operated only if found necessary by the Engineer in Charge during the maintanance period. The contractor has no claim over the operation of full amount/spares under this items and payement will be made only for the spare parts actually replaced at site and as per the agreed rates.
