Tender For Automation Of Edp Test Rig => Limited; 1.0 Background ARAI is having an Energy Dissipation Performance Test (EDP) facility which is required for the certification testing of the seats as per IS 15546. It includes a pendulum whose free fall movement is used to create an impact on the seats head restraint. The height and position of the pendulum needs to be adjusted to align with the seat dimensions and the type of seats. Also the lifting and release of pendulum from an angle of 90 deg. is required. The mechanism used for the movement of the pendulum is currently not in working condition as the software is obsolete and not possible to upgrade. Motor and NI Hardware is available with ARAI Automation is require for the operation of Pendulum considering availability of Existing Hardware 2.0 Requirement Automation of the rig is require with existing Hardware 3.0 Name Supplier to specify 4.0 Version of the System Offered Supplier to specify 5.0 Application Perform Pendulum Impact Test on Seat Head Restraint. 6.0 Modes of movement 1) H frames horizontal Cross member A to be moved vertically Up and down-Both vertical motor should operate simultaneously. 2) Pendulum position B to be moved Horizontally 3) Pendulum block C to be lifted using motor initially and later by magnetic mechanism and taken to a position where it will be at an angle of 90 deg. to ground and then to be released by demagnetisation. 7.0 Utilities available with ARAI Motor available with ARAI,1)Vertical motor Details:Make: Gennext controltorque:60kgcmType: stepper MotorCurrent Rating : 4 Amp2)Horizontal motor details:Make: Gennext controltorque:34kgcmType: stepper MotorCurrent Rating : 4 Amp3) Rotary Motor:1.8 Hybrid stepper motor Bholanath Precision Engg Pvt Ltd 8.0 Safety No release action of the pendulum should be executed if any Person or object is in the path of pendulum release 9.0 Interlock Mechanical fuse to be implemented to prevent pendulum release when personnel operative at the rig or in the path of pendulum travel. If manual switch are pressed and if any person or object are in the path of Pendulum release then pendulum should not release. Interlock is require to remove the personal or object in the path of Pendulum release. 10.0 Operational Mode Manual operation with switches are require for all movements. Cross member Movement in Vertical Direction from right as well as left side. Pendulum Movement in Horizontal direction and Pendulum Movement is Lifting and Releasing. 11.0 Pendulum Movement Pendulum Movement for Lifting and Releasing the Pendulum.
