The manufacturer of board / panel shall submit a copy of type test report of a board made out of Polycarbonate thermoplastic panel in accordance with IEC 60 439-1 and IEC 61 439-2 for power switchgear and control gear assembly. The contractor must be submitted routine test certificate from manufacturer/principal company in accordance with IEC 60 439-1. The type test report as per CPRI (in accordance with IEC 60 439-1) should consist with following:i) Degree of protection of systemii) Temperature Rise Limitiii) Dielectric Propertiesiv) Short Circuit Withstand Strengthv) Effectiveness of protective circuitvi) Clearance and creepage distancevii) Mechanical Operation2. For better safety the Polycarbonate encl shall be fire retardant & self-extinguishing in accordance with IEC 60 695-2-1,DIN VDE 0304 Part 3, UL Subject 94 for Flammability V-2. It should be tested at Glow Wire test for 960 deg. Cent.3. The impact strength of polycarbonate enclosures / boards i.e. the Degree of Protection against Mechanical load shall bein accordance with EN 50298-98 for IK 08.4. The board manufacturer must submit the copy of type test reports for Polycarbonate Thermoplastic Board only. TestReports submitted of other material of construction like MS, SS will not be applicable.5.The quoted rate includes the excavation, earth work and required base for fixing the complete panel. |

Panel should have consisted of dew guard which is a passive solution for mitigation of condensation. The function of Dew Guard is to absorb moisture during high humidity and releases moisture during low humidity. This process ensures that a constant level of humidity is maintained in the enclosed space, due to which the product continues to be in function over a large period of time and protects against condensation. It absorbs moisture without any saturation, even in high humidity and maintain the humidity level in the panel. |
