The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes, Rates are inclusive of all taxes, royalty etc. all T&P/ machine material and labour required for proper completion of work. 2 Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface. (Repeated / Tranvers bar) Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 500 gms per sqm area, thicknessof5mm is exclusiveofsurfaceappliedglassbeadsas per IRC:35-2015 The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. 3 Reflective Raised Pavement Markers (Cat Eye/Road Stud) Supply and fixing of raised pavement marker with Made of Plastic body of RPM/ Road Stud shall be moulded from ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrite) or HIPS (High-Imoact Polystyrene) or Acryloniitrite Butadien Styrene (ABS)or Any other suitable material approved by the Engineer. The Marker shall supportaloadof13,635kgtestedinaccordancewithASTM D4280.The Reflectivepanelsshallconsistofnumberoflensescontatningsingleor dual prismatic cubes capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entringthelensface.Lensesshallbemouledofmethylmethecrylate conformingtoASTMD788ofequivalent.Thesloporretro-reflecting surfaceshallpreferablybe35+/-5degreetobaseandtheareaofeach retro-reflectingsurfaceshallnotbelessthan13.00sq.cm.themarker heightshall notbe lessthan10mmandshall notexceed20mm& Width shall not exceed 130 mm. 4 The base of the marker shall be flat within 1.3 mm all road studs shall be legibly marked with the name , trade or other meansofidentificationofthemanufacture.epoxyinstallations,excess adhesive around the edge of the marker, excess adhesive on the pavement and adhesive on the exposed surfaces of the markers shall be immediately removed. The contractor shall submit a two year warranty for satisfactoryfieldperformanceincludingstipulatedretro-reflectanceofthe reflectingpanel,totheEngineer.Inaddition,atwoyearwarrantyfor satisfactoryinfieldperformanceofthefinishedroadmarkershallalsobe given by the contractor who carries out the work of fixing of reflective road markers. Incasethemarkersare displaced,damaged,getwornoutor losetheirreflectivitycomparedtostipulatedstandards,thecontractor wouldberequiredtoreplaceallsuchmarkerswithin15daysofthe intimationfromtheEngineer,athisowncost.Therateshallincludeall materials,labour,T&P,transportation,installationandincidentalsall complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. RPM (With shank) 5 Solar Power road marker (Solar studs) The solar studs shall be made of Aluminum alloy and poly carbonate material which shall be absolutely weather resistance and strong enough to support a load of 13,635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. Its colour may be white,red,yellow,green or blue or combination as directed by the Engineer. Its water resistance shall meet the requirements of IP 65 in accordance with IS:12063:1987 category 2 for protection against water ingress. The dimensions of solar studs shall not be less than 100mm X 100mmX10mm. It shall have super bright LEDs so as to provide long visibility from a distance of more than 800 m. Its flashing rate shall not be less than 1 Hz. Its should be able to give the prescribed performance in the temperature range-40*C to 55*C. Its life shall be not less than 3 years. The rate shall be include all materials, labour, equipments, fabrication, transportation,erection,installation and incidentals all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
