(b) Thebinder content for the semi dense ashphaltic bituminous concrete to be provided under the above item shall be worked out on proportionate basis of the design mix formula approved for the SDAC item here-in-before and binder content shall be provided accordingly, contractor shall quote his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5%.Any variation in binder content shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 55.00 per Kilogram of binder. |
| 4 | M&L for preparation of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt andapplying evenly a priming /tack coat with cationic bitumen emulsion SS-1 confirming to IS 8887 @ 0.70-1.00 kg/sqm on surface of WBM as specified in table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed. |
