| 23 | Providing laying and fixing of galvanized punched tape concertina coil in single or two layers (top & bottom) as per drawings having galvanized spring steel core of wire 2.5 mm dia of cold drawn steel punched tape of low carbon steel having series of sharp barbs uniformly punched along its length, 550 barbs on periphery per revolution crimped on steel spring core wire, galvanized clips GI steel wire handles hooked to coils for handling MS square bar spikes hooked to coil having pointed faces for anchorage and weight 15.20 kg. per coil including spreading of each coil 10 mtr. length adequately tied to existing GI barbed wire fencing and fencing post with GI wire of not less than 16 guage at every 1 mtr. spacing, tying of handles of succeeding coil with preceding coil with GI wire of not less than 16 guage, properly anchoring of spikes at start and end of coil in existing hooks i/c keeping concerntina coil 75 mm above the top of cement concrete pavement using proper fixing arrangeement as approved & directed by the Engineer-in-charge for bottom layer and applying anticorrosive bitumastic paint (IS-158) of approved brand and manufacture in black shade to give a smooth and even shade by dipping in paint twice over punched tape concertina coil complete as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. |
