NAME OF WORK : REPAIR AND MAINTENCANCE OF B.S.FENCING & GATE IN AOR OF 100 BN BSF UNDER SHQ BSF TURA
Sl. No. Item Description
1Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.
2Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.
3Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-III) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
4Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III): 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
5Providing and laying cement concrete in kerbs, steps and the like at or near ground level excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing. 1: 1 ½:3 (1 Cement: 1 ½ coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
6Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level : 1:1.5:3 (1 cement: 1.5 coarse sand (zone-Ill) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
7Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
8Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500O or more.
9Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.
10Providing and fixing mild steel round holding down bolts with nuts and washer plates complete.
11Welding by gas or electric plant including transportation of plant at site etc. complete.
12Applying priming coat : With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel galvanised iron/steel works .
13Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture
14Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work
15Renewing Wrought iron or M.S. Wheel or roller of steel door or gate and fitting and fixing the same with necessary clamps, nuts and bolts/welding and erection etc. complete. Wheel above 50 mm dia
16Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)
17Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory windows (steel or wood} shutter including chowkhats, architrave, holdfasts etc. complete and stacking within 50 metres lead : Of area beyond 3 sq. metres
18Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead.
19Dismantling of old rusted Barbed wire flexible rope in fencing making rolls and stacking within 50 Mtrs lead.
20Removing of old paint including rusted scales from the surface to be painted with metal patti and sand paper,to make the surface smooth and free from any rust and scales.
21Dismantling of old rusted Concertina coiluntightening from GI Barbed wire taking out spikes from concrete block, rolling of coil and stacking of serviceable materials within a lead of 50 meters as per directions of Engineers in charge.
22Providing & fixing G.I. barbed wire of size 2.50 x 2.00 mm (weight to be not less than 108 gms per metre length) conforming to IS-278-1978 and stretching with existing MS hooks / tightening bolts to angle iron posts in holes already drilled with spilt cotter pins 5 x 22 (confirming to IS 549 steel) i/c necessary painting by dipping in paint twice with anticorrosive bitumastic paint (IS-158) of approved brand and manufacture in black shade to give a smooth and even surface complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Single length of barbed wire to be measured for payment).
23Providing laying and fixing of galvanized punched tape concertina coil in single or two layers (top & bottom) as per drawings having galvanized spring steel core of wire 2.5 mm dia of cold drawn steel punched tape of low carbon steel having series of sharp barbs uniformly punched along its length, 550 barbs on periphery per revolution crimped on steel spring core wire, galvanized clips GI steel wire handles hooked to coils for handling MS square bar spikes hooked to coil having pointed faces for anchorage and weight 15.20 kg. per coil including spreading of each coil 10 mtr. length adequately tied to existing GI barbed wire fencing and fencing post with GI wire of not less than 16 guage at every 1 mtr. spacing, tying of handles of succeeding coil with preceding coil with GI wire of not less than 16 guage, properly anchoring of spikes at start and end of coil in existing hooks i/c keeping concerntina coil 75 mm above the top of cement concrete pavement using proper fixing arrangeement as approved & directed by the Engineer-in-charge for bottom layer and applying anticorrosive bitumastic paint (IS-158) of approved brand and manufacture in black shade to give a smooth and even shade by dipping in paint twice over punched tape concertina coil complete as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
24Supplying and fixing turn buckles and straining bolts for barbed wire fencing.
