Material and labour for Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes not exceeding 30 mm complete all as specified.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushing for removing caked/mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dustand applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen VG-10)at 05 kg per 10 sq metre and laying bituminous premixed carpet, 40mm consolidated thickness,with 0.405 cu.m. of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradientwith8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.
