| 9 | M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr connected to and incl galvanized strip 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles,check nuts and washers etc made of galvanized iron connected to earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part-I 1991 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion incl earth work and excavation in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, pre cost slab 40mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 with 8 mm dia MS bars reinforced at 10 cm centre to centre both ways incl funnel with watering pipe wire mesh and lugs, incl test point complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE. |
| 10 | Restretching of LT ACSR conductor and GI wire of any size and on any type of poles including disconnecting from insulator and rewinding to insulator after stretching with and including aluminium wire including re-fixing/re-adjusting line spans, line separators, cross arms on poles all as specified. |
| 11 | Cutting and trimming of tree branches to clear the over head lines in the arc ofLT over head lines feeders (including repairing and jointing of ACSR conductor if damaged during cutting of trees) and removal of the trimmed branches of trees, removing and depositing the same away from the site, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE : All tools required for the job should be arranged by the contractor with in the overall cost quoted in the item. |
| 12 | M&L for preparation of old painted fencing any type (channel/barbed wire etc) of LT Feeder pillars and sub stations, angle iron by scrubbing, cleaning and painting with one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 13 | Supply and fixing, cable route marker for LT cable duly engravedon 100 mm dia MS round plate 3 mm thick, duly painted with yellow colour paint, and fixed on MS angle of size 40mmx40mmx5mm , length 600mmand embedded in PCC (1:2:4) concrete block of size 230mmx230mmx150mm, completewith excavation work etc reqd to complete the job all as specified and directed.Note :- (i)Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited to E/M yard in his own arrangements by the contractor.(ii)PCC measured and paid separetely in respctive items. |
| 14 | Surface cleaning/site clearance n exc 15 cm in depth in Sub stations area, trenches, sub station rooms, two pole/four pole structure surroundings to make a overall presentable condition all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 15 | S&F of following accessories in repair of Lt panels of various sizes at various location complete all as specifed by Engr-in Charge or GE :-Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE. |

| 21 | Wiring of voltmeter or ammeter with copper conductor single core 1.5 sqmm size, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 22 | Supply & fix aluminium strip 32 mmx 6 mm complete with saddles and fixing screws for fitting the strip complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE. |
| 23 | Checking, testing Taking out all the LT cables by cutting old rusted nuts,bolts etc, refreshing all the cables (one in comming and 4 to 8 out going) by providing new lugs, MS nuts, bolts & washers and required excavation work, returning filling, removal and making god. welding of panels hings including making proper locking arrangement of LT panel ront and rear doors and proper opening and clossing. Painting of LT Panels with smoke gray paint over a paint of redoxide. Marking incoming & out going feeder to particular block/ Bldg Nos with white paint etc. complete all as directed by engineer -in -charge.a) Excavtion and earth work for taking out cable loop will be included in the rate of the same deemed included in the quoted rate by the contractor, not paid seperately. |
| 24 | Opening /disconnecting the electrical connection of defective/burnt out underground LT cable of any size2 to 4 core from main switch/DB/junction box / LT panel/ L T O/H line etc. Taking out the required length of cable from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable ,providing required thimbles/connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch/DB/Junctionbox/LT panel/O/H line etc all as directed. Note:- (I) the cost of required earth work ie excavation,returning filling,relaying of sand/bricks and cost of drawing the required length from protection pipe ,breaking of required brick work/plaster/concrete and redoing the required cement work to match the existing surface is deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra should be paid on this account.(ii)Additional cable/ protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly. |
