Boring/Drilling 150mm dia bore holes upto 6 Mtr depth through any type soil/rock as requird / directed by Engr-in - Charge for boring collectiondistrupted and undistrupted soil Charge for boring collectiondistrupted and undistrupted soil sample at 1 mtr intervals or at any change of Strata in 100mm bore thin walled tube including waxing sealing, packing and transporting to the lab. conducting necessary tests as per relevant IS codes / NBC 2005/SP-36 on all collected samples which include the determiantion of :- (a) Atterberg limits. (b) Natural moisture. (c) Wet and dry density. (d) Soil particles size distribution using sieve/hydrometer analysis.(e) Tri axial shear test C&D determination. (f) Shrinkage limit. (g) Consolidation limit. (h) Specific gravity test for sand/rock. (j) Crushing strengh of rock samples. (k) Permeability test. (l) Chemical analysis of ground water sample (Minimum 02samples.(m) Free soil index.( n) Chemical analysis of soil.Note:-(i) Furnishing SBC report in pentuplicate including recording SBC for each location for the maintaining phoographic record (Min three photographs per hole duly annoted as approved by Engr-in-Charge) (ii) Rate including all items of works necessary for carrying out complete soil explorationn work, collection of sample testing at laboratory and field test result and submission of reports (five sets). (iv) RL of gound level/founding level w.r.t a BM should be invariably mentioned in the soil investigation report.(v) Recommendation of SBC should be given for:- (a) All the bore holes (b) Minimum at three depth Viz 1.m, 2.0m and 3.0m. (vii) Recommendation as regards possibility of lique faction of soil in case of saturated partially saturatedn loose/ uncompacted sandy soils.(viii) Recommendation for filling (if required) may be included in the test report.(ix) Swelling index and swelling pressure in respect of black cotton & its depth/Inyer.(x) Depth of ground water table (GWT) in peak monsoon (lowest) and peak summer (highest) after correlation of result with seasonal varition of water table in the station. (xi) Transportation for including mobilization and shifting of mechanical boring equipment / rig to each bore hole location for all sites.
