| 2 | (A) PRIME MOVER.Vertical engine of suitable capacity water cooled (Radiator mounted) EG complete 50:50, bore 95x115mm, CR 19:1, Displacement 3.3 ltr, ISO 8528-5 G2, CI4+ 15W40, exhaust pipe size 3 inch, mean piton speed 5.75 m/sec, air intake @ 100 % load 160 CFM, exhaust temp 490 degree celcius, closed circuit as per BS-649 or IS-10002 direct injection type turbo charged electric starting system having rated speed 1500 RPM. DG Set conforming IS/IEC 60034-1, IS 1460, ISO 8528/3046/9001 AND IS 13018. Engine protection low lubricant oil pressure, high/low coolant temp, battery over/under/weak volts, fail to crank/start, sensor failure, cranking lockout, low fuel level and alternator protection over/under voltage, over/under frequency, loss of ac sensing etc.The DG set shall be capable of running 24 hours continously with 10% overloading for one hour in every 12 hours run as per BS-5514/BS-649. Engine shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacturer\"s recommendations and mounted on common base frame with following fittings:- |

(e) A-1 Governor controlling.(f) Oil tempature gauge.(g) Water tempature gauge.(h) Lub oil coolant heater to avoid freezing.(j)Oil drain pump(k) 24 Volts cold starting kit comprising with the following:- (i) 2 Nos, 12 volts 180 AH batteries. Make: Exide/Standard/Amaron. housing in wooden box with glass wool insulation all around as directed. (ii) Battery Charging alternator with inbuilt regulator (iii) Starter motor of suitable capacity.(iv) Battery leads(copper cable) of suitable size with brass thimbles and terminals.(l) Cold starting kit with engine block heater and sump heaters.(m)Any other fitting/accessories as recommended by the manufacturer. |

Alternator rating 250 KVA (200 KW), 3 phase, 50 cycles 415 Volt, 4 wire supply at NTP 0.8 power factor running @ 1500 RPM self excited, self regulated , mounted on a strong fabricated steel frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation to be coupled with above engine. Voltage regulation plus minus 1 %, insulation class H, winding pitch 2/3, stator winding double layer lap, dynamically balanced rotor, waveform distotion no load < 1.5 %, total harmonic distortion non distorting balanced linear load <5 % , max unbalanced load across phases <= 25%.Dedicated winding specially designed for 1 phase operation.The alternator shall be conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, BS-2613 of IS-4722. (C) Alternator control panel CRCA sheet, floor mounted, cubical type with internal copper wiring with copper coductor cable of suitable size for 250 KVA alternator, 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles fabricated out of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet, painted internally and externally with two coats of epoxy powder coating paint over a coat of red oxide primer, including following accessories:- |

| 6 | (b) Fuel tank with provision of cleaning of suitable capacity as per manufacturer\"s instructions capable to store 12 hours running of DG set with supprting fabricated steel stand with all pipes connecting upto fuel pump including oil level indicating gauge, drain & air vent plug etc.(c) silencer to meet MoEF/ CPCB noise emmission standards.(d) Rubber matting. Chequred of size 2m x 1m x 12mm thick (Make Jyoti or equivelent (ISI Marked) (e) Tool kit for maintenance of DG setNOTES FOR ITEM NO-1(i) The DG Set shall be provided with an intergral acoustic enclosure to meet MoEF/CPCB norms of 75dBA @ 1 metre at 75 % load under free field conditions, CRCA sheet in munsel green shade, structural base frame in black paint, insulation material PU foam complying IS 8183, fuel filling arrangement inside the enclosure, 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistent powder coating of all parts to withstand extreme environment, air inlet louvers and shall comply the revised noise limit for DG set vide GSR 371 (E) dated 17 May 2002 and its amendments under Environment (Protection) act 1996 issued by the Min of Envronment and Forests.(ii) The contractor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authanticate the above from the OEM/OEANotes:-(i) Load test will be carried out after installation in the presence of testing officer.(ii) The DG set shall be tested by the contractor in presence of the accepting officer\"s representative/ IEM & Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and the quoted rates are deemed to be included for all these aspects.(iv) Payment of DG Set\"s will be made after satisfactory testing. |
| 7 | Excavation in trenchesnot exceeding 1.5m indeep for laying of pipe, cable, foundation of electric pole etc and getting out in hard soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
