| 1 | Cutting in earth work in hilly areain all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work (both in soft and hard rock) with chiselling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required, setting out to the required lines and levels grades, side slope,trimming bottomand levels as shown on the drawings as per technical specification clause 1603 and directed by Engineer-in-charge at siteand sorting out useful/un useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts and transportation of the useful materials for filling in road ways, embankments for grades improvements and levelling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquiredwidth of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation along with its levelling fine dressing and including all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessaryto complete the work by mechanical means and labour ( if any required).Recovery for usefulstone of 1921.45 cubic metre@ Rs.300/- cum(Rupees Three hundredper cubic metre) amounting to Rs. 576432.00/-only , which shall be done on prorata basis for the quantity of cutting in earth work effected. Any loss to thepublic and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensatedby him in all respect.The rate is including octroi,Royality,Malkana,Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST. |
| 2 | Earth work in excavation in structure in heights and depths in all kind of soil comprising of pick,jumper and blasting work ( both in soft and hard rock ) with chiselling / wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited ) and their intermediate classification of soil.If water is met due to stream flow,seepage,rain and other causes, it shall be removed by suitable diversion,pumping and bailing out and dewatering,the excavation shall be kept dry wherever so required by the contractor at his own cost,including dressing of slopes and beds,setting out conforming to required lines,grades,side slopesas shown in the drawing and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge and transportation of soil to road way and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of road or on approved dumping sited including its stacking ,levellingand dressing in all leads and lifts through allmodes of transportation including head load ,animal loads or mechanical means or other incidentals to complete the work as per technical specification clause 305. All useful material,such as stones,shingles,aggregate and slates shall be sorted out and stacking along the road side to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all mode of transportation.Any loss to the public and private during the course of execution or disposal of serviceable and un-serviceable material which shall be absolute responsibilityof the contractorand shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including hauling / carriage of materials and labour equipments to various location through all modes of transportations with in all leads and lifts of materials and as per direction of Engineer-In -Charge. |
