Bids Are Invited For 12 Inch Id X 4.5 Metre Long Delivery Rubber Hose 12 Inch ID delivery Rubber hose (4.5 metres long) with flanged nipples at ends (the nipple shall be rubber lined to a thickness of 3 mm),flanges drilled to BS 10/ Table D specifications , Working Pressure: 18Kg/Sq.cm Testing pressure: 36 Kg/Sq.cm, Construction: Delivery Hoses in length of 4.5 Metres each, Heavy Duty, Smooth bore, Corrugated Surface, Wire embedded outside armoured with 8SWG G.I. Wire, Non collapsible type to withstand 18Kg/Sq. cm working pressure (Testing pressure 36 Kg/Sq. cm.) having extra soft thick inner rubber abrasion resistant suitable for conveying 4000 GPM Storm Water which would be slushy, muddy, grity containing abrasive particles like fine sand and lignite pieces. The hose shall be provided with flanged built in nipples at both ends. The nipples shall be made of Seamless steel tubes, with 8 to 10 mm thickness. The nipple shall be rubber lined inside and outside for a thickness of 3 mm. The flanges of the nipples shall confirm to B.S.10/Table D and holes in the flanges drilled in accordance with BS 10 specifications. Flange dimensions are OD - 457 mm, PCD - 406 mm, flange thickness - 20 mm, No. of holes - 12 Nos, hole DIA- 22 mm, Application: The hoses are required for connecting the discharge from the pumps installed in the floating pontoons to the shore pipe (Duty of pump 4000 GPM at 180 metres head). The difference between max. /min. water levels in the pontoon may be about 12 to 14 metres A part of the hose line shall be laid flat supported on the pipe floats. The other part of the same hose lines will be used as droppers along with the slope of the mines towards the pontoon pump, and hence these hoses shall be mechanically strong enough to serve as droppers and to face short radius of bend due to Fluctuating water level in the sump. , I. The hose shall be made of High tensile high wear resistant rubber inner liner. II. Special 100% Nylon cords reinforcing plies. Hoses found to have reinforcement other than nylon cords will be rejected. III. Extra-reinforced neck portion between hose & hose nipple for dropper operation. IV. Two armoring fully embedded in the hose, with increased bending properties to cope with water level variation. V. Spring steel collapsible and Ant bulge reinforcement. VI.
