Tender For Modification Of Toilets At Hter-Pped Facility In Igcar, Kalpakkam. ; 1 Dismantling brick work in cement mortar at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2 Demolishing Stone rubble masonry (In cement mortar)at all levels by manually / by mechanical means, carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 3 Dismantling the existing structural steel structures andhand over the same to the departmental store including labour charges for dismantling and transporting the same to the store as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 4 Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape,welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetrationetc. usingMS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, squaresections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer/ Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection completeall as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.Note:Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 5 Earthwork excavation by manual means for foundation, substructures, plinth beam, cess pits & trenches, all kinds of foundation etc.,in all types of soil like hard gravelly soil, sandy soil for the followingdepth from average ground level upto the required founding level, line and grades in both dry and wet conditions including shoring, strutting, bailing out of water if necessary, levelling and ramming the bottom of trenches, dressing of sides, stacking the excavated materials away from the edge of trenches,refilling the sides of foundation as required with selected excavated earth and depositing / disposing the surplus excavated earth (Disposed soil to be leveled by breaking clods, if any and neatly dressed and leveled) within the lead specified below all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 6 All kinds of soil with depth upto 1.5m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 200 metres. 7 All kinds of soil with depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3m below average Ground level and disposing surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 200 metres. 8 Supplying and injecting with approved quality chemical emulsion at the rate 1:29 ratio (1 part of chemical and 29 parts of water) and concentrations as per IS 6313-2001 Part II for preconstructional anti termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier under and alround the masonry pits, masonry foundations, wall trenches, plinth filling, junctions of wall and floor, expansion joints, surfaces of RCC works for a depth of min. 500mm from the finished ground level, surrounding of pipes, conduits etc., walls retaining soil above floor level, apron and drain along the perimeter of the building including all complete as per specification / IS 6313:2001 and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Only ground floor plinth area of the building will be measured for the payment in the following three stages.i) 20% after completion of the foundations ii) 50% after completion of the ground floor flooring iii) 30% after completion of all treatment works including ground floor doors & windows. Work to be executed by M/s Pest Control (India) or any other approved agency and specified guarantee for 6 years shall be furnished by the tenderer. Payment will be cleared only after submission of Guarantee. 9 Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using 20mm maximum size graded aggregates and crushed stone sand including mechanical mixing, transporting and placing in required position, ramming, compaction, levelling, curing, shuttering, dewatering if any, complete all as per specification for levelling courses in foundation for walls, footings, floor drains etc., encasing pipes and other required works directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as per specifications. 10 Providing and laying cast insitu controlled reinforced cement concrete of specified grade at all levels and lifts mentioned below using 20mm maximum size hard granite machine crushed graded stone aggregates and crushed stone sand including weigh batching, charges for mixing & cost of admixture,mechanical mixing, transporting and placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidating, curing and finishing smooth of all exposed faces complete for column footings, columns, lintels, sunshades, gutter slabs, beams, slabs, water tank, machine foundation and all other structural elements including dewatering wherever necessary (Formwork and reinforcement will be paid for separately) all as per specification and all as shown in drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for all insitu item.Note:1. The rate of concrete shall include all labour, equipment, charges for mixing & cost of admixture.Chemical admixture confirming to IS 9103 shall be mixed in fresh concrete and prior permission from engineer-in-charge shall be obtained for dosage and compatibility2. Test certificate of cement, procured from dealer/company to be submitted for all cement related works by the Contractor.3. The rate shall be quoted on the basis of using minimum cement per cu.m. of concrete mentioned below for relevant grade of concrete.Any upward/downward variation required to obtain the specified strength will be paid for or deducted at the rateof cement specified in Schedule F. 11 M30 grade with 370 kg. of cement per cu.m. of concrete for all floors 12 Providing, straightening, decoiling wherever necessary bending, cutting, binding and fixing in position steel reinforcement TMT bars of Fe500D grade steel conforming to IS:1786 SAIL or VIZAG or approved equivalent make and tying with approved annealed binding wire of 1.6mm dia in all reinforced cement concrete work at all lifts, including cost of supplying and fixing the spacer/cover blocks in cement mortar 1:2 and binding wire complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all lifts.The rate shall be including the cost of reinforcement steel.The reinforcement steel will be procured from dealers with a test certificate as approved by the department.For further details please see Point 7 of Section VIII, General Information for Guidance of Tenderers. 13 Supplying, fabricating, erecting and fixing in position at all levels, centering and shuttering to correct line and levels including strutting, propping, etc., with necessary bracings in all axes to give a stable assembly with provision for making the joints in the shuttering fully leak proof and with provision for fixingcoil nuts with tie rods along with suitable channel for lateral supports and for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture, including staging, access and working platforms etc., all complete as specified and directed including dismantling and removing the aforesaid assembly after the concrete attains the sufficient strength to self-support itself without cracking and distortion all as per specification, including all materials and labour complete in all respects at all lifts. The measurement for the formwork will be the actual area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces.Shuttering with plywood panels alone will be permitted. 14 Filling with selected excavated earth available at site upto a lead of 200m, filling in layer of not more than 150mm thickness, each layer well rammed and consolidated by hand/earth rammer including excavation of dumped earth, hire charges of rammer, water consolidation, levelling to proper gradient, dressing the top surface to the required level, complying with specification and all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 15 Providing gravel/murram backing/filling 75mm thick (consolidated thickness) for underfloor/plinth beam or as specified by Engineer, including spreading gravel in uniform layers, watering, ramming, consolidating by hand/mechanical roller, dressing the top surface to the required level complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 16 Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete in all respects as per clause 401 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge works (5th Revision or latest) and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 17 for Grading-II material 18 Providing and constructing brick masonry at all lifts using well burnt stock bricks in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand including suitable scaffolding, raking out joints, curing complete as per specifications and drawings for foundation, superstructure, etc. for the following floors. 19 for Basement and Ground Floor 20 Providing and constructing at all floors and lifts 115mm thick brick work in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand and using well burnt stock bricks including providing and placing in position 2 nos of 8mm dia rods at every 4th layer, scaffolding, curing, racking out the joint on both faces etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 21 for Basement and Ground Floor 22 Providing plastering to the internal surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thickincluding hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications. 23 Providing plastering to the external surfaces of brickwork/concrete at all elevations in cement mortar 1:5 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick in two coats including hacking of concrete surfaces with pointed tool, scaffolding, finishing, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary, all as per specifications. 24 Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed floor/wall tiles confirming to IS 15622 of approved make in approved size, shade and colour (as approved by Engineer-in-charge), free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners fixed at right angles as per design and pattern required over a bed of 20mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand (in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand), including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, pointed neatly with white cement mixed with coloring pigment to match colour of tile, properlyfinished in all respects, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete.Note: The sample tile shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement. 25 In flooring fixing with 20mm thick beddingin cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand. 26 In Dados and skirting laid over 12mm thick backingin cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand. 27 Providing and fixing Viterious china white wash basin CNS - WHT-705/parryware/Hindware under counter wash basin 590x420x195 includingproviding and fixing Heavy Quality C.P Brass Foot operated push type - Pillar Cock of Jaquar/Parryware make and type or approved equivalent make,inlet connection as approved and any other necessary fixtures required for foot operated tap, 15mm stop cock, 32mm Heavy quality C.P. brass waste coupling of standard pattern, including painting of fittings and brackets, cutting and making good the walls and testing complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 28 Providing and laying approved quality 18mm thick mirror polished Granite slabs for flooring & Skirting of required size & specified colour, pattern and free from cracks, fissures & flakes with straight edges & perfect corners laid at right angles as per pattern over a bedding of cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand, 20mm thick (or backing of cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand, 12mm thick as mentioned below) pointed neatly with white cement mixed with coloring pigment to match colour of slab and finished in all respects, including machine / hand cutting to required size and shape, moulding and polishing of exposed edges, fixing stone to level and plumb,anti-skid grooves for steps, curing, cleaning the surface neatly at the time of handing over the area, all materials and labour complete.Note: The sample Granite slab shall be got approved by the Architect/Engineer before procurement. 29 Providing and fixing of Hollow metal steel door at all levels fromcertified Manufacturer. All hollow metal general doors with or without vision panel/louvers shall be ofPressed Galvanised steel Double or Single leaf to required sizes of approved make shakti Hormann or approved equivalent which consists of frame, shutter, infill and finish as detailed below and conforming to IS 277. Note: 1.Door frame shall be Single rebate profile of size 100 x 57 mm made out of 1.20mm thick galvanised steel sheet (18 gauge). Frames should be Mitered and field assembled with self tabs.Frames should be provided with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening.Once frame installed should be grouted with cement slurry if recommended on the clear masonary opening. Note: 2. Door leaf should be 46mm thick fully flush double skin door with or without vision panel as per requirement. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 0.8mm (22 guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. The internal construction of the door should be rigid with steel stiffeners / pads and reinforcement. The infill material shall be resin bonded honeycomb core. All doors should be factory prepared for receiving appropriate hardware and provided with necessary reinforcement for hinges, mortice locks, and inculding door closer Make HARWIN or DARMA. The edges should be interlocked with lock seam. For pair of doors astragals will be provided as required. 200x300mm Vision lite with 5mm thick clear toughened glass with sealant in each shutter wherever applicable should be as per joinery details with a screw on glass beeding on the inside.Louvers when recommended should be site proof and shall be flush fixed on the external surface. Note: 3. All doors and frames shall be finished with polyurethane aliphatic grade paint of approved colour. The door leaf and frame shall have passed minimum 250hours of salt spray test.Rate should include supply and installation of door and hardware set as mentioned in the door and hardware schedule and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The door shall be despatch after the apprval of the pre-despatch inspection by the Engineer. Note: 4. Submission of shop Drawing is in the scope of cotractor. 6)Payment will be made based on clear structuralopenings. 30 Steel door with Single leaf with/without vision panel and all required accessories/hardware set. 31 Providing and Fixing 28mm thick factory made WPC door shutters (Wood Plastic composite)from Qute or approved equivalent with minimum density of 600 Kg/ Cu.m of approved makeincluding all accessories & fittings like 3 nos 100mm SS hinges, 2 Nos 125mm Grip aluminium Bow handles, 2 Nos of Aluminium 75mm Baby latch for each door complete all as directed at by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Sample, Model and colour to begot approved before procurement) 32 Providing, supplying, and fixing in position Factory made WPC Door frame from Qute or approved equivalent of size 75 x 50mm of approved shape including sawing, jointing, as shown in the drawings, finishing the surfaces to the required finish all as per specifications and drawings including necessary MS hold fasts 40mm X 3mm thick 200mm long or with coach screws including joining materials, adhesives, fasteners, labour etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: Measurement shall be based on actual length of Frame used. 33 Providing and fixing anodized aluminium (Anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868 Minimum Anodic coating of grade AC 15) workfor doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z Sections and other sections of approved make confirming to IS:733 and IS:1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc.Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per architectural drawings and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required.(fittings, Glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately).Note: 1) The rates for aluminium is inclusive of all fasteners required for fabrication and fixing in the walls.2) All joints shall be of mittered Joints. 3) A long M.S rod threaded at both ends to be provided in all aluminium door shutters in Top & bottom Horizontal members internally connecting Vertical members and fixed with M.S washers & nuts. 4) Only Aluminium members alone shall be measured and paid for. 34 Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with premium Plastic emulsion paint(Asian or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of cement primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 35 Providing and applying painting Two coats at all levels with Acrylic emulsion paint(ACE or Equivalent approved brand, colour and manufacturer) to give an even shade including one under coat of suitable primer, applying putty, preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 36 Providing and constructing Random Rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 using crushed stone sand and using hard granite stones obtained from approved quarry with bond stones at 2.00 metres apart for foundation, basement and in superstructure, compound/boundary walls, including sizing of stones if required, raking out joints, scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per drawing, specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge at all lifts. 37 Providing Flush pointing over the random rubble masonry wall with cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand at all levels including scaffolding, curing, forming grooves wherever necessary all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 38 Providing and fixing Viterious china colour wash basin size 630x450mm (HINDWARE / PARRYWARE) with C.I. brackets,15mm C.P. brass pillar taps of Jaquar/Parryware or approved equivalent make, 15mm x 600mm long PVC Inlet connection, 15mm stop cock, 32mm Heavy quality C.P. brass waste (Only G.I. pipes will be paid under relevant Item) 53 Providing and fixing liquid soap dispenser in PVC container VEGA or approved equivalent make with all accessoriesincluding necessary screws for fixingcomplete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 54 Providing and fixing 6mm thick Mirrors of size 600 x 450mm x 6mmModi Guard or approved equivalent make with bevelled edges complete with 6 mm thick asbestos sheet back ground fixed to walls with C.P. brass screws and concealed washers complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 55 Providing and fixing Cast Iron Nahani Trap / Floor Trap of 100mm inlet and 75mm outlet, (weighing 5.80 Kgs each), jointing with Lead with the connection pipes, placing as per the drawings, including embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4 using crushed stone sand and making circular hole up to floor level using 110mm O/D PVC pipes of 6 Kgs / sq.cm pressure and fixing 1 No 125mm dia C. P Brass Grating , complete all as specifications and drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 56 Providing and constructing Gully Chamber of internal size 300x300mm including providing, supplying and fixing 150 x 150mm stoneware gully trap with CI grating including excavation in all types of soils, backfilling, embedding in plain cement concrete 1:4.5:8 using 40mm size granite aggregates, crushed stone sand and constructing theabove chamber with 115mm thick brick work in cement mortar 1:4 using crushed stone sand with well burnt chamber bricks, plastering over both internal and external faces of brick work with cement mortar 1:3 using crushed stone sand,12mm thick finished smooth with a floating coat of neat cement on both faces, providing and fixing CI cover with frame of 300 x 300mm size (inside) the weight of cover to be not less than 4.5 kg and frame to be not less than 2.70 kg as per standard design complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 57 2)The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.
