Project Description

Tender For Specialized Scientific And Technical Services Classified Traffic Volume Count at Intersections: This includes a Traffic Volume Count, Turning Movement Survey, and Road Inventory Survey (up to 500 meters in each arm) at identified four-arm intersections. Classified traffic volume data at each intersection will be collected over a 16-hour period on a normal working day using videography. The data will be extracted at 15-minute intervals to determine morning and evening peak-hour turning movements. Additionally, hourly traffic variation, traffic composition graphs, and traffic flow diagrams for both total and peak-hour traffic will be prepared. Topographic Survey of the Intersections: Topographic survey has to be done using Total Station or other Digital method indicating all road and other physical features covering intersection area up to ROW/ Building line up to 500 meters in each arm with levels at suitable intervals. Provide base plan of the intersection with longitudinal profile along intersecting roads in drawings in 1:500 scale (2 hard copy of each intersection drawing and a soft copy in .dwg format). Traffic Volume Survey at Mid-Blocks: Classified traffic volume data at each intersection mid block will be collected over a 16-hour period on a normal working day using videography. The data will be extracted at 15-minute intervals to determine morning and evening peak-hour traffic. Occupancy survey also to be done on sample based. Household Survey: A travel behavior and economic survey will be conducted at selected residential areas in Bharatpur City, using the standard Performa of CSIR-CRRI provided in Annexure-1. Samples will be collected from each ward in the city, with the sample size determined by the wards populationOuter Cordon Survey: TVC, Occupancy and Roadside Interviews Survey: The origin- destination survey at the outer cordon points will be conducted over a 24-hour period, including classified bidirectional classified traffic volume counts along with Occupancy survey for passenger vehicles on hourly sample basis and roadside interviews with a sample size of 100 at each location. Additionally, TVC survey will be recorded for the entire 24 hours. Pedestrian Volume Count Survey: Conduct an 8-hour video graphic survey at identified locations, including 4- hours in the morning peak period and 4- hours in the evening peak period, to count pedestrians walking along the road and crossing the road. Public Transport and IPT Survey: (i) Conduct a Passenger Opinion Survey and an Operators Interview Survey at the identified Public and Intermediate Public Transit Stations/stops or households, using the provided proforma. (ii) Boarding and Alighting Survey Parking Survey: Classified Parking Accumulation survey. This will be conducted for 16 hour duration at identified parking lots and on-street parking areas. Coordinates for each specific location will also be recorded. Inventory Survey of Selected Parking Locations is also required Speed and Delay Survey: A speed and delay survey is to be carried out at identified corridors. (Three runs in a day) Spot Speed Survey: The survey will be conducted over a specified period during typical traffic conditions using radar guns or laser speed guns at identified locations. Data will be collected during both peak and off-peak hours to ensure a comprehensive analysis. Speed measurements will be recorded in both directions at regular 15-minute intervals over an 8- hour period, covering buses, cars, two-wheelers, autos, and trucks, with a minimum of 200 samples for each category of vehicles. Goods Terminal Survey: Hourly classified Goods Vehicle Accumulation survey and Driver/ operator interview survey on sample basis Non-Motorized Traffic (NMT) Cycle and Cycle-Rickshaw Survey NMT User surveys and Operators Survey
