Special Repairs To P-636 (Hangar) At Af Station Gwalior- 1 Demolition of cement Concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and complete all as specified and directed. 2 Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for including cutting of sheet welded, riveted to the frame work complete all as specified and directed. 3 M&L Framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing completeconfirming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed. 4 S & F Rolled sections as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; includingfixed with angle cleats or other connecting plate etcconfirming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Easing/ adjusting & repairing of sliding doors of Aircraft hangers of size exceeding 20 Sqm but n.exc. 60 Sqm of each shutter at 12 to 15 m height by providing welding, oiling, greasing, etc all necessary arrangements required for smooth sliding and locking of the sliding door complete all as specified and directed by EIC.Note : Supply of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately 6 Repair and maintenance of existing pulley of any description and in any position at height 12 to 15m with or without taking down existing pulleys, ascertaining serviceability, ensuring smooth functioning of pulleys including greasing, oiling etc and replacement of minor parts like screws, nut & bolts, washers etc and fixing the same in existing position with necessary welding, riveting, etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Scaffolding upto any height shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. 7 Supply only MS wheels, pintels, axles of required size and parts required for pulleys for aircraft hanger doors and roller gates with bearing and all as specified and directed. Note : Labour rates are included in Item No 5 & 6) 8 M&L for pavement quality control concrete using crushed stone aggregate having minimum field flexural strength of 40 Kg/Sqcm and characteristic compressive strength 40 N/Sqmm in pavement using non circular/triangular synthetic fibre @ 0.25% by weight of cement used laid to level, gradient and camber including necessary form workand laying of polythene under and side of concrete complete all as specified and directed.Note : Non circular / triangular fibre shall be measured and paid for seperately as supply only. 9 Supply only polyester non-circular /triangular fibres 12mm long with circum circle diameter 30-35 micron, designed for melting point of 240-260 degree Celsius and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.40 complete all as specified and directed. 10 M&L for Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws to hangar roof/door at 12 to 20mtr height complete all as specified and directed. 11 M&L for Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, Ridge, valley/ gutter fixed with self tapping screws to hangar roof / door at 12 to 20mtr heightcomplete all as specified and directed. 12 M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. 13 M&L for Preparing old painted steel & iron surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. 14 Dismantling expanded metal, any thickness or mesh, fixed with steel or wood fillets, if any at height 15 m to 20 m and all as specified and directed 15 S& F Wire netting of stainless steel wire 1.4mm dia and 12mm of mesh size fixed with self tapping screws with steel fillets to hangar roof at 12 to 20mtr height complete all as specified and directed. 16 S&F flat Iron, mild steel for securing wire mesh, wind tie, welded to each other to hangar roof at 15 to 20 mtr height and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note : Scaffolding upto any height shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. 17 Fixing onlyflat Iron, mild steel for securing wire mesh, wind tie, welded to each other to hangar roof at 15 to 20 mtr height and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note : Scaffolding upto any height shall be deemed to include in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. 18 M & L for complete removal of existing painting on epoxy flooring surface and applying two coats of polyurethane based paint over a coat of primer to lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc of colour as approved by users and GE complete as directed by EIC
