| 1 | Material and labour for general servicing/ maintenance of LT ACBs of any make, type installed at various locations by drawing out breaker assembly carefully, disconnecting the electric supply, cleaning the contact points with cleaning solvents recommended by the manufacturer, adjusting/ tightening of fastener/ springs etc, lubricating of ON-OFF mechanism and all the moving parts, checking of all electrical connections/ tripping device etc. Ensure that all contacts are clean, smooth, and in proper alignment and spring pressures are maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications. On the circuit breaker and the stationary contacts in the cubicle should be cleaned and inspected for overheating, alignment, and broken or weak springs. Coat contact surfaces with contact lubricant to ease mating. Clean all ceramic materials of loose dirt and examine for signs of moisture, make sure the assemblies are clean and dry engage the breaker with supply system and testing for the capacities upto 1250 Amp complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
