| 6 | Material and labour for dense bituminous macadam not exceeding 50mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with min 4% binder (paving bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power rolled 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :-1. Works to be carried in places where directed by Engineer-in-Charge and also patch repairs to depressions over 50 mm shallbe carried out under this item.Rate under this item includes for cleaning the surface of pot holes and depressions and removing of the rubbish meterials as per site requirement.2.Preparation of mix in hot mix plant spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers/vibrator as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out in hot mix plant which may be installed at distance as per norms but contractor shall be responsible to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with deployment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no deley in completion of work shall be acceptable.3. During transit of material from hot mix plant to site shall be covered by tarpolin/ necessary covering. |
| 7 | Material and labour for bituminious premix asphaltic semi dense corcrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5 % binder (As per design mix) content by weight of total mixlaid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete and rolling to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 8 | Repair to pot holes any depth , not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous emulsion SS-1 @ 5kg/10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam (minimum binder content of 4% by weight of total mix as per design mix) well rammedand sealed with binder 9.80 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.30mm size and again well rammed (including supply & laying premixed macadam binder and chippings), depth of pot holes not exc 30 mm complete all as per IRC specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Providing and laying Asphalt painting on B.T. surface with bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 5.00 kg / 10 sqm by Mechanical sprayer & spreading the stone dust on prepared surface at the rate of 0.03 cum / 10 sqm & rolling with smooth wheel & pneumatic tyred roller with smooth wheel & pneumatic tyred roller & brushing etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 10 | M&L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8kg of bitumen (paving bitumen), applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | M & L for providing and applying minimum 2.0mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) n exc 10cm wide of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign material etc complete asper direction of Engineer-in-Charge and accordance with applicable specifications. |
| 12 | S&F in repair Solar Studs 135x105x26 mm made of Aluminum frame with mix epoxy filler of approved colour having bearing strenth of minimum 20 tons including removing damaged/old studs.complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
