The thickness of the Bituminous concrete layer may vary slightly as directed by the engineer so as to adjust longitudinal and cross levels besides alignment of track on the apron. The contractor will ensure that the longitudinal and cross levels and the alignment of track laid on this Bituminous concrete layer is within the laid down tolerances for finished track. Quoted Rate shall include the cost of handling / placing in position of concrete sleepers. |

Fabrication of 52 kg check rail should conform to RDSO drg no. T-4215. SH rails for check rail shall be provided by NTPC Rihand. The rails are required to be transported by contractor’s own transporting arrangement from the stacks of rails available at NTPC Rihan#d store to the site of works for fabrication/manufacture of check rails etc and after getting manufactured /fabricated by approved manufacturers/fabricators the same will be transported to site of works for linking by the contractor. The item includes all transportation. |
