Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Overhauling Related Work Of Ndct U 7 Mtps Dvc - I) Scope of Work: A. Dewatering of NDCT Basin: 1. The water sealing or isolation of the basin will be done by the gates and sand bags (if required). 2. Dewatering of basin of NDCT to be done with the help of Pump which is to be arranged by the contractor. Sufficient quantity of diesel operated pumps shall be provided by the contractor to evacuate the basin well within the mutually agreed schedule. B. Desludging, Cleaning and Re commissioning of NDCT Basin: 1. After dewatering, all the mud, debris etc. are to be removed from the basin and the basin need to be cleaned properly within the time frame as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge, DVC, so that DVC representative can inspect the basin thoroughly. 2. All the mud, debris etc. are also to be removed from the inside inlet channel of NDCT and the channel need to be cleaned properly within the time frame as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge, DVC. 3. All the mud, debris, scrap material etc. shall be removed from the NDCT area and shall be shifted to the identified place as decided by Engineer-In-Charge, DVC. 4. After cleaning of the basin, sand bags (if used) are to be removed and the basin level should be established. C. Supply of scaffolding materials: 1. The contractor has to supply sufficient no of scaffolding materials / movable platform of sufficient height for successful completion of the job. D. Re-fixing & re-installing of Splash V- bar with necessary erection of Scaffolding / movable platform as required, NDCT: 1. Shifting of all the materials required for erection of the scaffolding / movable platform to the site. 2. Erection of the scaffolding / movable platform in NDCT as per instruction of EIC, DVC. 3. The platform will mainly be required for through inspection of NDCT. 4. The length of the platform at different locations / altitudes as required shall be as per direction of EIC, DVC. 5. Re-fixing and reinstalling of damaged splash V bar, Grid etc. of NDCT. 6. After the completion of the work the scaffolding / movable platform has to be dismantled and the scrap has to be removed and disposed. 7. Removal of tools and tackles, scaffolding materials / movable platform, scraps etc. from work site to identified place. 8. All the PVC headers inside the NDCT will be checked and to be repaired if found in damaged condition. E. Cleaning / Re-fixing of Nozzle, NDCT as required: 1) Complete checking, cleaning and re-fixing of Nozzle of NDCT. F. Painting of Inlet Header and pipeline of NDCT 1. Erection the scaffolding / movable platform for proper cleaning & painting of the pipes. 2. Removing the old paint, rust etc. by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth for painting. 3. Apply the one coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand. 4. Apply the two coat of Epoxy paint as per manufacturer’s specifications. 5. After the completion of the paint work, the scaffolding / movable platform has to be dismantled and the scrap has to be removed and disposed. Note: Payment for painting will be done on actual measurement basis. Total Quantity :
