2(II) By Mechanical Means (b) Reinforced Cement Concrete
3Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges,retaining walls and other structures comprising of brickmasonry, including disposal of unserviceable materialand stacking the serviceable material with all lift and lead of 1000 m as per Technical Specifications Clause202 for Rural Roads of MORD(b) Cement mortar
4Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved material complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks (soft or hard) by manual means.
5a) upto 3 m depth(ii) With pumping out water excluding shoring
6Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used)completes as per direction(a) Single brick flat soling (thickness 75 mm.)
7First class Brick work in cement sand mortar in steining of well, pier, abutment, wing wall, parapets cross drain. H.P. culverts, guard wall etc. including curing, scaffolding, raking out joints etc. complete including cost and carriage of all materials Note:- Construction wing is to add cost and carriage of bricks as per Consumption chart vide Section 3 of Vol. I for Building Works only to arrive at consolidated rate. (a)In 1:4 proportion.
8Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. i) Pakur Variety
9Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes.a) Pakur Variety
10Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)(a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation
11Furnishing and Placing Reinforced / Pre-stressed Cement concrete in Super-structure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement and admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete. as per drawing and technical specifications.B RCC Grade M25(i) Height upto 5m II. Using Batching Plant, Transit Mixer andConcrete Pump(ii) For T-beam & slab,a) Height upto 5mNote:1 Construction Wing will add the cost & carriageof 0.9 cum/m³ coarse aggregates and cementas per requirement vide Table 3.2-1 only toarrive at consolidated rate.2 From durability consideration, the value ofminimum cement content and maximum watercement ratio to be considered in the mix design shall be as per the direction of the Engineer-in Charge
12Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Super-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape andplaced on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications. (SAIL/TATA/RINL)
13Drainage Spouts in Superstructure including providing drip mouldings and also including supplying, fitting and fixing approved type of materials complete as per drawing and Technical specification vide clause no. 2705 of MoRT&H’s Specification for Road & Bridge Works.
14Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.(b) Where staging is not required.
15Supplying Nylon cage netting 1 metre x 1 metre x 1 metre size with knothaving mesh size 17.5 cm x 17.5 cm constructed with nylon thread (210 x 24) having tensile strength not less than 250 Kg. / sq. cm. including carriage, delivery and stacking at site inclusive of all taxes complete.
16Labour charges for dumping and placing in position properly filled in Nylon crates with filled in gunny / poly cement bags (minimum 25 nos. having capacity 50 kg) with local earth or sand, sewing and tying the crate with nylon wire within a lead of 150 m. and all lifts in river slope or bed by cutting trenches upto 50 cms depth, if necessary, or by boat including cost of hire charges of boat, boatmen and other necessary equipments and also including cost of bags, carriage and charge of filling bags with earth / sand but excluding cost of nylon crate as per direction of the Engineer – in – Charge.NB:- Volume of each earth/ sand filled bags should not be less than 0.028 m3.Size of Nylon crate is 1metre X 1metre X 1metre.(a) Where boats are not necessary
17Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches.
18Silver Sand Stacked at Site
19Removing earth/sand filled poly bags/gunny bags from the channel bed/slope and initially depositing the same near channel bank at a place as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for measurement of Bag. & then disposing off the same at a distance not less than 150 metre from the channel site
20Applying Exterior grade Acrylic primer of approved quality and brand on plastered or cencrete surface old or new surface to receive decorative textured (matt finish) or smooth finish acrylic exterior emulsion paint including scraping and preparing the surface throughly, complete as per manufacturer\"s specification and as per direction of the EIC.In Ground Floor:(b) Two Coats[This item to be done under specific instruction of the Superintending Engineer]
21Protective and Decorative Acrylic exterior emulsion paint of approved quality, as per manufacturer\"s specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge to be applied over acrylic primer as required. The rate includes cost of material, labour, scaffolding and all incidental charges but excluding the cost of primer.In Ground floor (Two Coat)c) Super Protective 100% Acrylic Emulsion
22M.S. structural works in columns, beams etc. with simple rolled structural members (e.g. joists, angle, channel sections conforming to IS: 226, IS: 808 & SP (6)- 1964 connected to one another with bracket, gussets, cleats as per design, direction of Engineer-incharge complete including cutting to requisite shape and length, fabrication with necessary bolting, metal arc welding conforming to IS: 816- 1969 & IS: 1995 using electrodes of approved make and brand conforming to IS:814- 2004, haulage, hoisting and erection all complete. The rate includes the cost of rolled steel section, consumables such as electrodes, gas and hire charge of all tools and plants and labour required for the work including all incidental chages such as electricity charges, labour insurance charges etc.

28Pumping out water from ponds or tanks(Payment if permitted will be made on the quantity of water calculated on the basis of initial water level and final level on consideration being made for any water that may have been added through percolation or otherwise)
