Supplying and making Outdoor Cable End Termination with Heat Shrinkable Jointing Kit complete with all accessories including lugs for following size of PILCA insulated Aluminium conductor cable of 33KV grade as required. Note: 1. Insulation resistance of the cable is to be measured by a 5KV megger/ Insulation tester and to be recorded before and after the replacement of end joint2. Arrangement of all instrument and equipment’s for this job is in the scope of Bidder.3. The make of the 33KV, End Termination Kit should be of M/s Raychem Make or approved equivalent of the same. 4. Installation of end Termination Kit should be made by a Raychem certified cable jointer.5. Five years of warranty is to be extended on the new joint.

Cable Fault DetectionTo detect the possible location of underground PVCA/XLPE electrical power cable fault by using the cable fault locator Instrument on the surface of earth without excavation of earth. All accessories, instruments and man power required for this job is to be arranged by the bidder.

Removal of Metals and Sand The metals and sand spread inside the 33KV Switch Yard is to be removed from the particular area required for excavation of earth manually to outside the switch yard and to be piled up separately i.e. metals and sand. There is one layer of 40+ size metals and one layer of 06inch thick sand bed. After repair of the faulty cable and refilling of soil, the removed metal and sand is again to be spread over the same area as it was spread earlier.

Excavating trenches of cables including excavation for joints/sockets and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 M, including getting out the excavated soil, bricks laid over the cables, piling brick & soil separately and then after repair of cable placing the bricks over the cable and returning the soil as required in layers consolidating the soil by ramming, watering etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed by EIC IOP within a lead of 50M.Note: The quantity of this item may vary significantly if the fault can be detected by the cable fault detector at a particular point. However for comparison purpose of bids, the total amount quoted will be considered. Considering these bidder has to quote.
