Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform, safety net etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of works and removing it thereafter. In case the scaffolding is required to be erected beyond 1.5m width for staging etc., it is deemed to be inclusive in the rate of this item and no extra payment shall be made against extra width beyond 1.5m.The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building, etc, wherever required, complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in- charge. Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. (2) The payment will be made once only for the execution of all items for such works. (scaffolding will be paid separately for the job at height for all types of work having a height of more than 3 m, on actually fixing the scaffolding at the site.
