Annual Rate Contract For Supply Of Spare Parts For Ashok Leyland Truck Fleet (08Nos) Of Machinery Division Kashmir.-- 1 Overhauling of the 6 cylinder engine of the departmental truck by way of detachingengine block from other parts, and then lowering the engine from the chassis with the help of chain block or hoist crane at reputed workshop and dismantling the engine, cleaning all the parts with kerosene oil and dhoti cloth, removing the damaged / worn outpartsalong with all other incidental works tools and tackles with skilled labours thereof included. 2 Machining job to be carried out by way of cutting / removing of the old / worn out sleeves from the cylinder block, then grinding of the surfaces of the cylinder block. fitting of new sleeves set (standard size – 6 Nos.) including finishing and honing of the sleeves, so that the pistons fit in the sleeves with proper clearance for piston rings. Grinding of crank shaft and cam shaft assemblies to next size and finishing of the same. Machining job is also to be carried out for setting of main and big end bearing bushes, setting of cam rod bushes and connecting rod bushes, piston pin bushes and other related items along with all other incidental works tools and tackles with skilled labours thereof included. 3 Repairs to be carried out to the cylinder head assembly by way of cutting/removal of old/worn out valve sets, valve guides and setting of the same and providing/fitting of inlet and exhaust valve set including valve seats to all the 6 cylinders. The job shall include dismantling of thewheel spring assembly of the truck completelywith the help of jacks. The leaf spring shall be cleaned and hammered / temperred by jack devices upto the required shape and requisite tension followed by greasing. The whole operation shall comprise replacement of below mentioned items. The job includes p/f of new radiator cap.The job includes dismantling of Radiator Assy from the vehicle and shifting of same to workshop and fittment of the same to vehicle after necessary repairs. The job also includes carriage of the Radiator assy from Mechanical Division Baramulla to Workshop of the contractor and back. 110 Repairs to turbo charger by way of replacement ofdamaged parts viz: compressor wheel, turbine wheel , bearings, seals by new one.The Job includes dismantaling of damagedTurbo Chargerfrom the engine and fitting of the same after necessary repairs. The job also includes removing of old gasket material from the exhaust manifold and pipe and removing all plastic or foam blanking plugs from the turbo. The job includes the positioning of turbo on manifold or engine block using the correct new gasket or O ring and then reconnect the exhaust pipe and tighten all nuts and bolts to the correct torque.The job also include installation of new inlet and outlet air hoses to turbo charger compressor housing and make sure that the connection is airtight.The job is to be carried out utilizing the services of skilled laborers with utmost care so that the components are not damaged.
