| 1 | Note:-(a) The work of periodical services shall be carried out as up to G+3 building. Necessary steel scaffolding shall be provided by the contractor. All safety measures shall be strictly adhered.(b) Contractor shall also ensure medical/life insurance cover for the labour party and the copy of the same shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE through EIC.(c) The contractor shall submit the guarantee of 5 years life for double coats of weather coat painting.(d) The work of weather coat painting shall be carried out through company applicator only.(e) Contractor should take care not to break roof tiles while doing painting and if any tiles are broken during painting, contractor need to replace it with own expense and without any cost to department. Also if there is any paint droppings/ marks made on MP tiles during painting of walls, contractor should clean it without any extra cost to department. Otherwise, a fine of 25% of cost of painting done on the wall surface will be recovered from contractor.(f) Contractor should take necessary steps to avoid paint marks/ drops on floor, joineries, sills, furniture etc with necessary measures. A fine of 25% of cost of painting done will be recovered from contractor if any paint marks are found on floor, joineries, sills, furniture etc.(g) All debris should be taken outside of INA Campus and if any debris found dumped inside INA campus, a fine of Rs 5000.00 per load or per Cum will be recovered from contractor.(h) Contractor should bring the full quantity of paint required soon after obtaining sample approval and should be kept in order and shown to Engg In Charge. Engg In Charge will do signature on each bucket and the same buckets after consumtion of paint should be brought at Office before preparation of Bill. A fine of 25% of cost of paint will be recovered from contractor if he fails to produce the empty buckets for verification.(j) This work need to be done in high priority areas like Mess for Cadets etc. Contractor may not get continuos working hours and work may needed to be stopped during food serving. Contractor need to rearrange the timings according to mess timing. No extra claim will be payable on this regard.k)All debris, unserviceable items shall be removed from site and thrown away at dumping area outside INA area upto a distance of 10.00 Kms where directed. Loading, Unloading , staking and transportation charges are included in relevent items of taking down or demolition / dismantling .l) The work shall be executed on slope roof/ flat roof upto a height of 18m. Contractor should ensure the safety of labour and should adhere to the safety precautions while working in elevated places/ roof tops.m) Old MP tiles & ridges obtained shall be re-fixed at any other buildings roof upto a distance of 5KM. Transportation charges are included against relevant item for fixing. |
