Name of Work: MTPS-II - MI - BM – AOH 2024-25 - Cleaning of accumulated Ash inside & outside above the Secondary air duct, Buckstay area, inside pent house and transporting Ash from various elevations to ‘0’ mtr and then dumping the ash into MTPS Ash dyke, water washing inside boiler, removing of Ash at interpass and Economizer slope duct, patch welding in eroded area of SS expansion bellow, inside wind box area and providing guard plate/replacing SS flame scanner flexible metallic hose and its allied works.

Opening of all manhole doors and closing manhole doors after completion work including changing of asbestos ropes and clamps in the doors in Boiler area.

Removal of accumulated ash inside the secondary air duct through manhole door, outside above the secondary air duct & OFA Duct in elevations of 23m, 27m, 32m, 37m, 41m (Front & Rear side), various elevations of buckstay in Boiler 1st & 2nd pass (Four sides) from 11 mtr. to 73 mtr area and the ash transporting to ‘0’m from respective elevations by using pulley arrangements including cost of consumables, hire charges for T&P’s, etc.,

Removal of accumulated ash inside pent house, scrapping of sticking ash from boiler tube top surfaces of skin casing, boiler tube header surfaces using scrapping plates and wire brushes, etc, inside the highly ash polluted and unapproachable in pent house area

Transportation of ash & dumping the ash into MTPS Ash dyke.

Cleaning of boiler in 2nd pass & inter pass area such that LTSH, LTRH, Economizer tubes of upper & lower bank each sides, Final Reheater and inter pass slope area by water washing, including of transportation of fire fighting hoses, nozzles, valves and other materials from Fire fighting office to site at various location and fitting to the site hydrant points at various elevations and returning back to Fire fighting office after completion of work

Removal of Ash in Goose Neck areaslope (21m x 12m) at interpass of boiler with highest level of Safety provision like life line safety belt, tools etc.

Removal of Ash in Economizer slope duct (21m x 12m) at boiler second pass with highest level of Safety provision like life line safety belt, tools etc

Removing the eroded SS guard plate and fixing the new SS guard plate in Non-Metallic expansion joint area. (welding rod is contractor scope).

Patchweldingworksintheworn out,erodedportionof wind box, Boiler structures and supports.

Providing guard / shrouding angle over the flame scanner flexible metallic hose in both ends of the wind box inburner, including charges for consumables and hire charges for T&Ps.

Replacing the damaged flame scanner flexible metallic hose inside wind box by a modified hose assembly (SS flexible hose will be supplied by TANGEDCO).
