1M & Lfor Checking/ Testing of resistance value of any type of earth pits by disconnecting earth continuity conductor from test terminal block and reconnecting the earth continuity conductor after testing.Note: (i) Temporary earthing connection to be provided while testing.(ii) Calibrated Earth tester will be bought by contractor and calibration certificate of Earth tester shall be shall be submitted.(iii) Earth test results shall be recorded in reference to Earth pit No. WRT Each Bldg.(iv) If earth test result is not satisfactory , earthing test will be carried out again after maintenance and this will be paid separately.(v) Earth test to be signed by Rep of contractor, Rep of user section and rep ofMES , Test reports to be submitted in triplicate. (vi) All T&P, manpower required is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates.
2M&L for maintenance of GI Plate/copperplateearthing to improve the earth resistance as following:-(a) Remove the earth pit carefully and kept at site for reuse. If existing pit is already damaged then new pit will be provided, measured & paid separately.(b) Excavation in any type of soil and rock 0.5 cum (approx 0.75m x 0.75m x 0.9m depth )(c) On First day recharge the earth pit with common salt, Magnisium sulphate,back fill compoundmixed with water.(Approx salt- 10 kg, Mg sulphate- 10 kg,Charkol - 10 kg )(d) On the next day recharge the earth pit with water 500 ltrs on next day.(e) Excavated material to be removed from the site and deposit at the distance not exceeding 50m distance and levelled.(f) Refill the pit with M&L for black cotton soil 0.5cum.(g) Refit the earth pit in place.(h) Testing of earth ( to be measured and paid separately)Note:-(i) Common salt, Mg sulphate, Charkol will be measured and paid separately. .

If existing chamber is already damaged then new chmber will be provided,new chamber will bemeasured & paid separately.(b) Excavation in any type of soil and rock 1 Cum(approx 0.75m x 0.75m x 2 m depth )(c)Taking outCopper Earth plate , watering pipe , funnel , earth continuty copper strip, cleaning of copper earth plate and Copper stripwith wire brush and polish paper, cleaning of GI pipe and funnel and renistall the the same(d) copperstrip shall be fitted with copper plate bybrassnutbolts - 3 nos and in addition brazing to be caried out , brazing length between copperplate and copper strip not less than 30 CMon both side of strip (e) On First day recharge the earth pit withcharcoal ,common salt, back fill compoundmixed with water and black cotton soil (Approxcharcoal- 25 KG, salt- 25 kg, Magnasium sulphate - 25 kg, black cotton soil 0.5 Cum(f) On the next day recharge the earth pit with water 500 ltrs on next day.(g) Excavated material to be removed from the site and deposited at the distance not exceeding 50m distance and levelled .(h) Refill the pit with M&L for black cotton soil 0.5cum.(j) Refit the earth chamber in place.(k) Testing of earth ( to be measured and paid separately)Note:- charcoal , Common salt, Magnesium sulphate will be measured and paid separately..
5M&L for fixing earth indicators made out of 3 mm thick MS sheet of size 200 mm x 300 mm duly fixed in MS angle iron 25 mm x 25mm of 600 mm long fixed to ground by means and including necessary cement concrete foundation and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete for writing earth reading and connected plant/ panel etc. and excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed.
6S&F in repair of test point made out of gun metal or phosphorous bronze of size 75x50x5mm duly mounted on epoxy insulator 02 Nos.Drilling of upper & lower portion of test point for incoming & outgoing connections with brass nut bolt to be fitted in and including terminal blockmade out of M.S sheet 2mm thick as per the sample duly painted with two coat of enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.
7Supply, installation,Boring, erection, testing and commissioningof Copper bonded(150 micron) MS solid rod electrode of dia 17.2 mm and 6 mtr long with high purity electrically conductive granular material having ultra low resistive value of 0.001 Ohm-m. Earthing Electrode shall bemade by embedding copper bonded MS Rod electrode in 100mm dia macronite conductive concrete made by mixing high purity conductive granularmixed with cement in the ratio2:1 (2 part of high purity electriclly conductive granular and 1 part cement and one litre of water per kg of mix ). The earthing electrode shall be augured inbore hole of dia not less than 100mm and6 Mtr depth. The conductive material shall confirm to BIS: 3043-2018. The rod shall be embedded in conductive concrete at factory with concrete having resistivity 0.040 Ohm-m. The top edge of the electrode shall comprise of plate provided with 04 holes for connections of the earthing strip,including brass nut bolts for connections of the strip the copper strip shall be duly brazed/welded with connection terminal of earthing rod, including FRP square chamber cover 300mm x 300mm x 250mm with top cover complete all as specified.All the material such as copperbonded MS rod and concrete mix shall be Ph nuetral, chemicaly inert and non corrosive complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.i) The contractor shall submit type test report issued by the CPRI for high purity, electrically conductive earthings , confirms to rated short time withstand current20 KA per sec. ii) The factory made electrode shall be tested at factory and test report shall be submitted.iii) Factory testing of individual earthing shall be carried out in presence of rep of accepting officer and report shall be submitted.iv) The contractor shall obtain make approval for high purity electrically conductive granular duly by submitting certificates conforming to resistivity is 0.001 ohms by granular manufacturer.v) On installation of earthings at site, 04 to 05 Nos earthings shall be connected in grid to achieve less then 1 ohm resistance of grid, If desired resistance is not achived the contractor shall redo the same without any extra cost. vi) The contractor shall submit certificate issued by OEM of earthing electrode starting that \" The desired maintenance free earthing resistance less than 1 ohm. The year will be maintained for not less than 25 years.
8Material and labour for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of copper pipe electrode earthing maintenance freeearthing based on 6 mtr long copper pipe 75 mm dia(ID) with wall thickness of 2 mm, copper strip in pipe and filled with MFC for improvement of conductivity of electrodeduly fixed with connector at top connection of copper strip 25X3 mm riveted /nut bolt after 12 mm boring and further earth continuity conductor made of copper strip 25x3 mm upto 7.5 meter ,150 KGS BFCshall befilled around the copper pipe elecrode ,including providing earth pit chamber size 450x450x300 mm depth outside & 250x250x300 mm depth of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:- (i) Rate included for testing,commisioning including checking of earth continuity and earth result complete all as specified and directed.(ii) Vendors are bound to get earthing result less than1 Ohm with grid of three earthings and 2 Ohm with grid of two earthing, 3ohm with single earthing, Any additional work and material required to achive the required result is included in the cost(iii) Earth strip beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid separately.(iv) Rate is included for boring of earthing in any type of soil/rock,minimum dia of bore 150mm.(v) Continuity of good earth resistance shall maintained upto 1 year and testing will be carried out monthly by MES authority.
9Material and labour for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of GI pipe electrode earthing maintenance freeearthing based on 6 mtr long GI pipe 80 mm dia(ID) medium grade, GI strip in pipe and filled with MFC for improvement of conductivity of electrodeduly fixed with connector at top connection of GI strip 32X6 mm riveted /nut bolt after 12 mm boring and further earth continuity conductor made of GI strip 32x6 mm upto 7.5 meter , 60 KGS BFC shall be filled around the GI pipe electrode including providing earth pit chamber size 450x450x300 mm depth outside & 250x250x300 mm depth of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note:- (i) Rate included for testing,commisioning including checking of earth continuity and earth result complete all as specified and directed.(i) Venders are bound to get earthing result upto 5 Ohm for single earthings and 3 Ohm with the grid of two earthing.Any additional work and material required to achive the required result is included in the cost quoted by the tenderer.(iii) Earth strip beyond 7.5m shall be measured and paid separately.(iv) Rate is included for boring of earthing in any type of soil/rock,minimum dia of bore 150mm.(v) Continuity of good earth resistance shall maintained upto 1 year and testing will be carried out monthly by MES authority.
10M/L for providing earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to copper earth strip 20 x 3 mmby means of bolts, nuts, checknuts & washers of copper and connecting to test point, providing charcoal and common salt ,all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part I of 2009 & as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation/earth work in any type of strata PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C1 earthing chamber, pre cast slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete ( 1: 2 : 4 ) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 Kg / Sqm), funnel with wire mesh, watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade and lugs,including copper earth strip 20 x 3 mmwith GI protection pipe of 25 mm medium grade 7.5 meter long, etc complete all as specified.Note-- (i) Vendors are bound to get earthing result upto1 Ohm with grid of three earthings and 2 Ohm with grid of two earthing, 3ohm with single earthing, Any additional work and material required to achive the required result is included in the cost. 59M& L for washing/ cleaning of solar PV panels mounted on roof of Lab at 9BRD for efficient working of solar plant cap 50KW on monthly basis and recording cleaning date on register with user signature complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-charge. Note: 1.T&P and washing material shall be provided by the contractor, and cost of same is included in quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be pain on this account. 2. Non executing the washing for any month during CA period a monthly penalty of 10000.00 Rs shall be recovered from payment due to contractor.
60M&L for Attending E-N voltage complaints, checking the wiring circuit for attaining desired E-N voltage, including fine tuning isolation transformer connections , checking all incoming and outgoing circuits, cleaning and servicing of isolation transformer complete upto satisfaction of Engr-In-Charge. (Note : Any minor spare part found faulty during checking and cable lugs , minor wire pieces including cost of T&P, multimeter etc shall be included in quoted rates of this item)
61Material and labour for Routine maintenance of Solar water heater plant (including any leakages in GI pipes) of Cap 100/200 ltrs installed at single/ double story bldgs for preventing minor leakage using gasket of nitryl rubber of suitable thickness and size , cleaning of flat plate glass collector,cleaning / drain of water from hot and cold water tank and make up tank clean afterdisconnecting inlet and out let connections incl replacement of rusted nut bolts and washer of appropriate cap and refixing the same at retrieved position after cleaning for proper functioning of the system to maintain proper water temperature complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
62Supply and fixing HDPE rotational moulded polyethylene cylindrical vertical water storage tanks 250 Ltr cap (triple layered with closed top), conforming to specification of IS:12701-1996 with amendment No 1 and 2 (covered by fig 1) hoisted and fixed in position, including out let and inlet connection including dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable water storage tanks of any description and capacity complete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
63Supply and fixing in replacement of rubber hose pipe 20 to 25 mm dia between hot water tank & collector fixed with MS clamp complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
64Supply and fixing in replacement Aluminum sheet of 28 SWGfixed over hot water pipe and hot water steel tank including fixing with necessary steel screw full threadsuitable for Solar water heater / electric water storage geysersand taking out old unserviceable sheet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
65Supply and fixing in replacement Glass wool density not less than 42 Kg/Cum andfixed over outer surface of hot water pipe and hot water steel tank with the help of steel wire cloth of 0.36 nominal dia incl binding with GI binding wire suitable for Solar water heater / electric water storage geysersand taking out old unserviceable glass wool and cleaning properly before fixing new wool complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
66Supply and fixing in replacement Hot water tank made out of stainless steel2 mm thick sheet,100 Ltr cap including covering with glass wool and aluminium sheet and provision ofinlet/outlet arrangement including testing after fixing with solar system complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
67Supply and fixing in replacement Flat plate collector size 2033 mm x 1033mm x 100 mm ISI marked and as per site requirement, assembly suitable for solar water system existing size and capacity with copper tube black coat/radiation reflector film, aluminum toughed glass,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
68M & L for comprhensiverepair/maintenaceof Fire alarm system installed at various Tech Bldgs of 9 BRD comprehensive maintenancethe following worksincludingNote:-(i) The maintenance cost offire alarm systemshall deemed to comprises of cost of labour employed for the purpose, T&P used and other petty items such as batteries for wire less system and other cleaning materials etc. (ii) Servicing shall be carried out authorised dealer.(iii)Non attending the complaint with in 3 days @ Rs. 1000.00/day shall be recoveredfor the fourth day by the contractor.(iv)Keep the complaint pending after four day @ Rs.2000.00/day shall be recovered by the contractor.(v) The complaint shall be generated by Telephonically/Verbally by concern JE E/M or Engr-Incharge.
