Operation and Maintenance of processing Equipments/ Sub Systems/Utilities: Operation and maintenance of the following Carbon Carbon (C/C) processing equipments / Sub systems / utilities at a time round the clock in three shift basis throughout year (365 days) as per work instructions / procedure / safety precautions and maintenance plan provided by Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL). Chemical Vapor Infiltration/ Deposition Facility (CVI! CVD) - 1 No Work Zone: (13 650 mm x 990mm (h) Working Temperature - up to 1200 °C, Working pressure: upto 100 for Sub systems • Vacuum pumping system • Scrubber system • Reactor consists Graphite suceptori strip heaters • Nitrogen/ Methane Gas Distribution system • Handling of Methane cylinders • Power control system consisting of thyristors & transformers. • PLC & SCADA based control panel/ field instruments • Chillers - 2 nos/ Cooling towers (2 nos) / pumps (4 Nos) 3 • • Gas control panel/ Gas sensors • Blowers system • Emergency system Note: CVI/ CVD process and its technology is under optimization and it is expected to be completed in one-year period hence, regular operation will be beyond that period. In view of this, O&M on CVI/ CVD equipment shall be performed to carryout experimental cycles based on requirements. 7. AUXILIARY SYSTEMS • Liquid Nitrogen storage system consisting of liquid tank, cryo pump, evaporators and buffer storage. • Emergency water supply system • Material handling system (EOT crane), Hydraulic trolley • Centralized closed loop process cooling station with DM water generation/ soft water and circulation systems — 2 Units • Centralized N2 gas manifold with bufft.er tanks and distribution systems — 3 units n Emergency systems • 300 KVA and 500 KVA DG set • Coordination with various agencies such as MES/CCE, ENTEST for availability of utilities. n Handling of firefighting equipments (in case of any unfortunate incident of tire).
