| 2 | Removing the manhole cover (CI or RCC) for opening of septic tank, sockwells or manholes (any type rectangular or circular) of any size and any capacity in foul condition and bailing out of mudy water, taking out semi solid sludge/solid contents/night soil from tank by manually or mechanically by sewage suction pump (at contractor\"s discretion) making it fully functional and cleaning the internal surfaces with water to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge including all necessary tools and plants required for removal of all wastes, solid or liquid sludge from the site through closed container and depositing the sludge in a pit (at empty/open area) of suitable size at any distance upto 200 metres from the line/colony area where directed and covering the same with the soil obtained from excavation of pit after treating the sludge by spreading the bleaching powder as directed to reduce the foul gases including all excavations and earthwork and refixing the manhole cover to its original position complete all as specified and as directed byEngineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) All the tools and plants including mechanical pump, closed lorry and other allied arrangements for making septic tank clean and functional will be made available by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.(ii) The mode of measurement shall be considered 25% of the actual volume of septic tank/ manholes (contains human excreta and water). Cost for the dewatering/bailing out of mudy water shall be including in the unit rate(i.e. qty of solid sludge contents) nothing extra shall be paid on this account. |

| 19 | Demolition of cement concrete reinforced of any discription and in any position, like roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas, fins, facia and similar suspended works, including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and prepare the surface to casting chajja, slabs, fins, facia etc and including removing rubbish material from site and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. |
