Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of water cooled scroll chiller of capacity not less than 35 TR having eco friendly refrigerant R-410A with Inverter driver technology having COP 4.4 which are equipped with intermediate discharge valve and a variable frequency drive with microprocessor controller, with multiple scroll compressors, with suitable TEFC motor, water cooled condenser, evaporater, suction, discharge shut off valves, ressure switches, refrigerant piping, base frame, insulation, controls, vibration isolators, automatic capacity control systems if applicable, oil pump, drive package, strainers, and refrigerant throttling device to suit the chiller all as specified and/ or directed etc., complete. The capacity of water chilling package unit shall not be less than 35TR at the following specified conditions. Chilled water inlet temperature: 54 ° F, Chilled water outlet temperature 44 ° F, Condenser water inlet temperature: 85 ° F, Condenser water outlet temperature: 95 ° F, Evaporater fouling factor: 0.0001 Sq ft Hr F/ Btu in FPS units, Condenser fouling factor: 0.00025 Sq ft Hr ° F/ Btu in FPS units. RCC / Cement concrete foundation for the unit as per OEM recommendation. Chilling machines as described above Note : - The machine shall be taken inside in CKD condition so as to not to damage the existing building. Any temporary removal of any Door/Window/Tiles/Floor etc. item shall be made good in original condition by the contractor.
2Primary Chilled water pump Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of CENTRIFUGAL SPLIT CASING / END SUCTION PUMPS, factory mounted on a common base with electric motor for recirculation of water for the central air conditioning system.  End suction, vertical split case design, in cast iron bronze fitted construction specifically designed for quiet operation for chilled water cooling systems as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All pumps shall be provided with mechanical seal and aligned properly as required. The pump motor shall be suitable for 415 +1-10% volts, 50 cycles, 3 phase power supply.The quoted price shall include cost of thermal insulation and cladding of chilled water pumps. Secondary chilled water pumps shall be suitable for operation on Adjustable frequency drives. Pumps with performance characteristics as given below. 1 No Monobloc type pump 1 No. Suitable HP, TEFC squirrel cage induction motor with class "F" insulation, 2900 rpm , operating on 415 +/- 10% volts, 3 phase, 50 Hz A.C. supply. 3Secondary Chilled water pump Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of Secondary Variable Speed Pumping System consisting of adjustable frequency drive (AFD) for each pump. 1 No. microprocessor based pump controller per zone housed within the enclosure of one of the AFD with pumping software duly downloaded & single / multiple differential pressure sensor / transmitters as per the site requirement. The entire system along with secondary pumps must be sourced from pumping system supplier only, for unit responsibility. 5Supply, Installation, testing and commissioning of factory built floor mounted double skin type air handling units made of 23+/-2 mm thick panels consisting of G.I. Casing of thickness 0.6 mm outside layer 0.6 mm thickness inside layer with polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation of density not less than 38 Kg/Cum factory injected between them by injection molding machine complete with 6 row deep cooling coilwith aluminum finned copper tubes, filter sections with 50 mm thick metal washable synthetic type air pre-filters, belt drive package with TEFC drive motor suitable for 415+ 10% volts, 50 HZ, 3 Phase, A.C. supply, drain connections, stainless steel drain pan, necessary vibration isolation arrangement, foundations, etc. complete as per specifications and of following capacities. The AHU shall be capable of Delivering 10000 CFM at 65 mm static,with Pre filters section, cooling coil, backward curved blower.The cost of distributers shall be part of the AHU. All coils for Air handling units shall be 120% capacity of the capacity indicated. Additional rows if required shall be provided at no extra cost.
6Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3-way motorized valves suitable for Chilled water as well as hot water application complete with Electrical / Electronic actuator, necessary wiring and required accessories for proper operation and control of valves of80mm diameter size including Modulating Thermostat with control wiring etc. as per specification.
7Supply of HVAC dedicated VFDs of capacity 10HP with IP 55 enclosures with Mains disconnect, complying with the tender specifications and having: (a)Built-in dual 5% impedance DC link reactor (harmonic filters) on the positive and negative rails of the DC bus of the VFD. (b)Built-in EMC Filters (electromagnetic compatibility filters) for VFDs for restriction of conducted emissions to comply with IEC61800: 3 (unrestricted distribution):2004 Category C 3. (c) Three-feedback PID controller having capability to simultaneously accept 3 feedback signals from temperature sensors or pressure sensors for process optimization and accordingly regulate the speed of the AHUs. (d) Additional 3 PID controllers to control external devices such as chilled water modulating valve, fresh air damper, etc. thus reducing the number of I/Os in DDC Controllers & improving system reliability. (e) Automatic Energy Optimization / Load dependent flux optimization functionality for maximum energy savings. (f)MODBUS RTU as the communication protocol between BMS & VFDs. (g)VFDs not meeting above requirements shall provide external disconnect, external harmonic filters, additional external EMC Filters to comply with IEC61800: 3 (unrestricted distribution):2004 Category C 3, external PLCs / DDCs to achieve 3 Feedback PID Controller functionality and external devices controlling capabilities. 9Supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical HW generator of capacity note less than 45KW equipped with sufficient number of electrical immersion heaters. The pressure vessel shall be constructed as per ASME standards and insulated on all sides with 100 mm thick fiber glass and cladded with 0.80 mm aluminum sheet in a neat and clean manner. The generator shall be equipped with all automatic and safetycontrols such as manual reset high temperature water outlet, step controller and recycling relay, "ON" "OFF" switch thermostats, pilot light, low water cutoff and other controls as per manufacturers recommendations. All basic controls and terminals shall be located in an integral control cabinet factory wired and tested. The generator shall be suitable for 415 +/- 10% volts, 50 cycle, 3 phase power supply. The entire generator shall be factory assembled and tested at 350 PSI pressure. The Hot Water Generator shall be of following capacity made of 8 mm MS sheet and dish end made of 10 mm capacity of the capacity indicated. 11Supply, Installation,Testing and commissioning of 1000 Litre INSULATED PRESSURISED CLOSED WATER EXPANSION TANK suitable for total volume of water in chilled water circuit along with necessary accessories such as 2 EACH pumps (1working +1standby) with Pressure Transmitter andinterconnecting Pipe & Isolating Valve. The tank shall be pre-charged.Expansion tank Shall be with replaceable heavy duty butyl rubber bladder. The tank shall have 50 MM system connection and 20 mm drain and charging valve connection to facilitate the on site charging of nitrogen in the tank.The tank shall be fitted with lifting rings and a floor mounting skirt for vertical installation. The tank must be constructed in accordance with IS-STANDARD 2825-1969 suitable for 125 PSI working pressure. 46Fire Damper with Control Mechanism Fire Damper Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning of motor actuated Fire Dampers of at least 1.5 hour fire rating in supply air duct at wall crossing of AHU room/as and where required, of requires sizes including control wiring. The damper shall be motorized and spring return so as to close the damper in the event of a fire signal which shall be provided by smoke sensor/detector in AHU room as per specifications and as required. The spring return action shall be in-built mechanism and not externally mounted. The control wiring shall be interlocked ion such a way that along with actuation of damper-closing mechanism, the AHU fan motor gets automatically switched off. Fire damper as described above, as per specifications and complete in all respects.

55ELECTRICAL Main LT Panel Designing, fabricating, transporting to site, Installation, testing and commissioning of floor mounted, self supported, compartmentalized LT cubical pattern (Extendable Type) metal clad switch board, fabricated from 2mm (14 G) thick CRCA sheet steel suitable for 31 MVA rupturing capacity at 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ AC supply and equipped with PVC sleeved aluminum bus bars of specified rating and following switch gears inter connected by PVC sleeved solid conductors, including 7-tank cleaning, degreasing, phosphating process and treatment of panel with anti-corrosive zinc based primer paint and finally powder coating the panel, complete with earthing terminals, cable and bus bar alleys and hoisting hooks as required. The LT panel will comprise ACBs and MCCBs as described below for incoming and outgoing power supplies. Necessary cable alley, spare switches, internal wiring, control wiring / cabling and earthing of all equipment shall also be included. Time delay relay for delayed automatic restart of air handling unit motor. 220/24 volts transformer.Wiring for micro-switch smoke sensor and electric actuator for stopping the fan when smoke/fire damper closes (For AHUs provided with fire damper).
56Control wiring for thermostat. ON/OFF push buttons with toggle switch for remote start/stop and indicating light for "ON" status at CONTROL DESK. Bimetallic lugs shall be used at copper to aluminium joints. Auto / Manual start / stop selector switch shall be provided for each equipment in the panel to facilitate remote operation from Central Indication Light Panel. Panels shall have adequate space for mounting transformers and other accessories related to control system. INCOMERS 1 No MCCB as per following details/ specification: 400 A, TPN, MCCB with in-built protection such as thermal over load, earth fault, short circuit, auxiliary contacts with door interlock facility & padlock facility shall contain the following: Voltmeter of 0-500A with VSS &one set of (RYB) phase indicating lights with 6A SP MCB Indicating lamps protected by 6A MCB to indicate ON,OFF, TRIP for ACB 0 - 500 Amps 96 x 96 sqmm Ammeter with 500/5 Amps resin cast CT’s and selector switch. Under voltage relay- 1 set BUSBARS : 500 A , TPN Aluminium busbar duly sleeved - 1 set Maximum density of aluminimun bus bars for current carrying capacity shall be one amp per square mm. OUTGOINGS : Chiller Unit- 03 EACH. MCCB"sas per following details/ specifications: 125 A, TPN MCCB, motor duty, with extended handle and outgoing feeder to chiller starter panel. The compartment shall contain : (i) "ON/OFF" LED indicating lamp with 6A control SP MCB (ii) 0 - 150 amps 96 x 96 sq mm ammeter with 500/5 amps CT’s and selector switch.

Secondary Chilled water pumps 02 EACH 32 amps TPN MPCBs, 35 KA, with extended handle with 10 HP DOL starters, over load relays with built in single phasing protection and outgoing feeders to Pump motors. Each of these compartments shall contain CT operated ammeter of 0-40 Amps range with selector switch, auto manual switch along with an ON / OFF indicating lamps and push buttons for status of the pump motors with SP MCB. Condenser water pumps 02 EACH 32 amps TPN MPCBs, 35 KA, with extended handle with 10 HP Star delta starters, over load relays with built in single phasing protection and outgoing feeders to Pump motors. Each of these compartments shall contain CT operated ammeter of 0-40 Amps range with selector switch, auto manual switch along with an ON / OFF indicating lamps and push buttons for status of the pump motors with SP MCB. Hot water generator02 EACH (1w+1 Stand by) 160 amps TPN MCCBs, 35 KA, with extended handle, over load relays with built in single phasing protection and outgoing feeders to HWG. Each of these compartments shall contain CT operated ammeter of 0-200 Amps range with selector switch, auto manual switch along with an ON / OFF indicating lamps and push buttons for status of the HWG with SP MCB. Cooling Tower 02 EACH16 amps TPN MPCBs, 35 KA, with extended handle with upto 7.5 HP DOL starters, over load relays with built in single phasing protection and outgoing feeders to CT motors. Each of these compartments shall contain CT operated ammeter of 0-40 Amps range with selector switch, auto manual switch along with an ON / OFF indicating lamps and push buttons for status of the CT fan motors with SP MCB.
58Control AHU Panels:(LDB) Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following cubicle type, dead front, sheet steel, wall mounted control panels, sleeve type aluminium bus bars, internal wiring and control circuit including anchoring into the wall wiring terminating into MCB and earthing, in each panel. All starters shallhave the following accessories: TPN MCB as per the suitable rating, terminal block for power distribution, contactor, overload relay with built in single phasing protection, phase indication lights and indicating light for ON / OFF status with toggle switches and back-up fuses, ammeter with CTs & selector switches, 96 mm x 96mm voltmeter with fuse of suitable range, Time delay relay for delayed automatic restart of air handling unit motor , auto manual selection & push buttons with SP MCB, 220/24 volts transformer, 24 volts wiring to the 2-way diverting valve and space thermostat Wiring for micro-switch smoke sensor and electric actuator for stopping the fan when smoke/fire damper closes (For AHUs provided with fire damper), Control wiring for thermostat, ON / OFF push buttons with toggle switch for remote start/stop and indicating light for "ON" status, Bimetallic lugs shall be used at copper to aluminium joints Auto/Manual start/stop selector switch shall be provided for each equipment in the panel to facilitate remote operation. Panels shall have adequate space for mounting transformers and other accessories related to control system.
59Incomer Supply and installation of 25 A MPCB, TPN, with Voltmeter & ammeter of suitable range with selector switches along with CTs, one set of RYB phase indicating lamps. Outgoings feeders: 1 no. upto10 HP DOL/Star delta starter as applicable as per design.
60Supply, laying testing and commissioning of 1100 volt grade armored XLPE. insulated and sheathed aluminium / copper Power conductor cables of sizes as below, on cable trays with suitable clamps, saddles, hooks, bolts etc. complete as per specifications and as required. The quoted rate shall include the cost of proper dressing of cables and also providing identification tags as required. (a)3.5 core 300 Sq.mm Al cable.

71DISMANTLING AND DEPOSTING TO E/M STORE YARD Dismantling of Existing Central Plant Comprising of the following Reciprocating type chillers 30 TR3 EACH Condensor water pumps 2 EACH Chilled water pumps 2 EACH Main Electrical panel with cabling work Cooling tower Air Handling Unit Piping for chilled water and condensor water AHU panels GI Duct plenum within AHU room. Cables Other Misc items within the plant room and upto Cooling toer including existing foundations. Note:- (a)Contractor/ bidder shall submit complete design for the Central AC plant comprising of heat load calculations, working drawings of complete AC plant supported with design/calculations duly vetted by IIT Except IIT Jammu of each component (chiller, water pumps, VFD"s, boiler, piping and ducts)within one month of the date of commencement of work through GE for the approval of Accepting Officer before execution of the work. (b)Contractor/bidder will be responsible for performance guarantee of complete AC plant to achieve the inside design conditions round the clock throughout the year with overall COP of the system not less than 4.7. (c) Lump sum quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to be inclusive of any design changes of Air Conditioning Plant and vetting of the same by IIT Except IIT Jammu. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account.
72(d) Rates quoted by the contractor shall be for complete finished work including cost of all labor material, scaffolding, finishing as required with tools, plants, cartage, lift, taxes, tollage, octroi, royalties etc. All works shall be executed as per BoQ, particular specification, drawings and instructions of engineer in-charge and shall include the supply and installation at site of all the equipment, ancillary materials as specified and all such items what- so-ever which may be required to fulfill the desired intent and purpose. All materials shall be as per ISI specification and with IS certification marked wherever applicable. The material shall be duly approved by engineer in-charge before incorporation in the work. (e) Lump sum quoted by the bidders shall be deemed to be inclusive of Air Conditioning Plant and all other items including successful testing & commissioning.
