| 1 | Checking of street light fittings any type on pole to find out defect (loose connection/fault/No power etc.) on site and repairing to cable/wire connection & making good tight connection in junction box or LED box /replacing cable of street light from inside of pole and taking down the street light whenever parts are to be changed for replacing unserviceable part, necessary cleaning the toughend glass or inside space, testing for continous hours and refixing the same at pole complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) Spares of light fittings shall be measured & paid separately.(ii) Cable should be drawn through the junction Box gland, it should not be from the outside of Junction Box.(iii) Contractor has to submit all new items for utilization in complaint at MRS for monitoring of items executed at site. (iv)The electrician/ Rep/Supervisor of contractor has to be submit daily work done report with credit or item retrieved from street light fittings or related items at MRS on daily basis without sinled day failure for checking purpose. After completion of work, contractor will collect from Engineer-in -charge or his rep in totality. |
| 2 | Excavation of loop of existing cable under the ground near the street light pole wherever neccesary for making new connection of cable inside the junction box with proper Al lugs/thimble after cutting down old worn out insulation of conductor of cable and relaying the remaining loop as previous and return filling the same site complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Cable should be drawn through the PCC foundation of pole, it should not be from the outside of foundation. |
