Name of Work: DEFECT RECTIFICATION OF DRY DOCK ROUTINES OF EM LOG AND ECHO SOUNDER (L-112 & L-113) ONBOARD ICGS C-445
Sl. No. Item Description
1L-112: Following refit/dry dock routines to be undertaken on Ship’s Echo sounder (Make-M/s Koden, Japan model –CVS 128) and system to be proved.(a)overhaul the equipment and control panel and performance to be checked at high speed.(b)Inspect transducer fitment along with surface ring to be cleaned properly and sea weeds to be removed ( In dry dock).
2L-113: Following refit/dry dock routines to be undertaken on Ship’s EM LOG ( Make-M/s John Lilley & Gilley Model-4020 LOG) and system to be proved.(a)Carry out calibration of EM Log and compare the readings with GPS speed. Difference should be within permissible limit.(b)Visual Inspection of Log sensor/Echo Sounder transducer soon after dry docking for any damage. Cleaning of these sensors from sea growth with soft brush and covering of sensors during preparation of painting surface and paining.
