| 3 | M&L bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete with a consolidated thickness of 30 mm and a binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) of 5.5% (minimum) by weight of the total mix using a hot mix plant, laid to a required camber and gradient using a mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface with a power roller of 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note: If actual design mix comes less than 5.50% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase voucher per each kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is more than 5.5%. |
