The following parameters shall also be part of SBC report of Soil;- |
| 3 | (i) RL of ground level/founding level with reference to a BM should invariably be mentioned in soil investigation report. Location of bore holes and DL should be clearly marked on site plan or layout plan of the proposed buildings and shall be standard part of the report. (ii) Recommended SBC should be given for:- (a) All the bore holes (b) Minimum at three depth viz 1.5m, 2.0m and 2.5m (c) SBC should be worked out for following size of footing:- (i)1.5mx1.5m (ii)1.5mx2.5m (iii)2.0mx2.5m (iv)2.0mx3.0m (v) 2.05mx3.0m (vi)3.05x3.0m (vii)Raft foundation (iii) Photographic record of the testing shall be part of SBC report. Also soil or rock samples left out after lab test shall be handed over to the Engineer-in-Charge. (iv) Depth of ground water table in peak mansoon season (lowest) and peak summer (highest) after correlation of result with seasonal variation of water table in the station shall be submitted as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) All tests shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant Indian standard in vogue. (ii) Rate quoted shall be inclusive of transport of equiment, machinery and all other cost which bidder is likely to incur for completion of the job. |
