1Provision of pre engineered hangar door frame and sliding Hangar Doors (10 Nos with 5 panels on left side & 5 panels on right side) of size 6.00 m x 18 m(each panel) including completePQC,all steel work & connected structure,tracks, wheels, 0.6 mm thick Galvalume colour coated sheet, protective coating,control panel, motor,sensor, telescopic arrangement including design, erection & fabrication with electrically operated/manual system complete all as specified and as shown on drawings vetted by IIT, etcall as specified andas approved by GE . (A) ANALYSIS AND DESIGN AND DRAWING OF 60 M X 18 M HIGH DOORS OF AN EXISTING HANGAR : (a) Door mounting structure has to be a free standing structure capable of taking full horizontal and vertical load. (b) It will be made of approximately 10 No of shutters running in 5 guide rails on top and supporting rails on bottom. (c) Half of the shutters shall gather in one side and another half in other direction. (d) Roof of mounting structure and cladding of shutter gathering enclosures shall be of galvalume sheet of 0.6mm. (e) Door shutters shall be covered with tensile fabric supported by tubes and steel wire rope of suitable size. (f) Door shutter are required to be top hung but also locked in bottom rails to hold it at its place under the pressure of wind. (g) SBC for foundation shall be given by the department for foundation . (h) Relevant Indian Standard shall be followed. Note: A tentative sketch is attached for better appreciation.
2(B) SCOPE OF CONSULTING SHALL BE AS UNDER : (a) Structural analysis design and drawing based on architectural drawings and elaborated above as approved from foundation to roof slabs. (b) Vetting of all the drawing from IIT. (c) A certificate by vetting authority incoporating following: - (i) Analysis and Design has been done as per standard methods. (ii) All the relevant Indian Standards provisions has been followed/ incorporated. (iii) All the loading cases and their combinations as per Indian Standard have been used in analysis and design. (iv) Structure as per drawings is safe for the purpose it is designed for . (d) Consultant shall supply Design folder including STAAD input and output file in soft and hard copy along with certificate and vetted tracing on A1 size. (i) Tracing -01 Set(ii) White Print- 03 Set Note: Construction ofpre engineered Hangar door frame and Hangar Door (covered by cladding & sheeting) with its complete independent supporting structure including all connected structural, cladding, sheeting, PQC and associated all civil and E/Mworks for the following size and specification :- (a) Size of hangar door opening – 60m x 18m (b) Door should be horizontally sliding on both sides. Half of the panel will go to left side and half will be on the right side. The parking area of gate should be such that the clear existing opening of hangar should not reduce. (c) The gap between the existing hangar and newly planned gate structure should be suitably closed by using RCC/brick works/MS Structure with cladding and sheeting without transferring any load to the existing hangar. (d) Demolition, making good and Construction of PQC flooring in the area between hangar gate and existing hangar including newly constructed gate structure area. (e) The gate should be as close as possible to the existing hangar after checking the feasibility on ground without disturbing the foundation and structural stability of the existing hangar.
3(f) While designing the gate and its supporting structure, the aesthetics must be considered. (g) S & F of all associated items i.e. Bottom rail, top rail, all structural member, cladding sheet, side support etc. (h) Painting of steel members, RCC members & brick works (if any). (i) Excavation, demolition, restoration of site includingremoval of debris etc is included in the work. (j) The thickness of Galvalume Side cladding, wall cladding, roof sheeting,flashing,ridge, galvalume sheet on sliding gate etc should be of 0.6 mm. Door Automation Part Total 10 Sets (k) Drive Mechanism for Door Automation assembly 1 set for each leafs (one master and one slave mechanism)(5 HP Brake motor) Make Semen"s, Crompton/Ge/Bharath Bijilee(10 Nos.) (l) Base mechanism for Drive unit and idler(10 Nos.) (m) Chain Drive mechanism from Master Bottom wheel Assembly to idler to Drive unit. (10 Nos.) (n) Suitable System for Door speed 7 to 10 metre/minute as per international Hangar Door. Depended on adjustment (7 to 10) (o) Electric cables from drive unit to control panel for all 8 Drive Units.(2.5 mm.4 core)(300 RMtr) (p) Manual Key Release Mechanism for hand operation in case of power failure.(10 Nos.) (q) Separate Electric Cables from Control panel to Limit Switches for all drive Units.(1mm.2core)(500 RMtr) (r) Switches for Forward and Reverse and Stop function with LED(02 Nos.) (s) Hooter Blinker(02 Nos.), Mechanical Buffer at Extreme ends to avoid any jerk (10Nos.), Cable Carriers, Festoons(02Nos.), Stainless Steel Wire Rope(500Mtr) , All Nut bolts (1000pcs)and other Hardware.(H.T.) and All unit complete erection, installation and commissioning are included in this rate.(10 Nos.)
4Demolition cement Concrete(unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete as specified and directed
5Excavating over areas, not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete as specified and directed
6Removing excavated material not exceeding. 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m where directed complete all specified and directed.
7Removing excavated/demolished material exc 5 km but nexc 16 km complete all as specified and directed.
8Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting to the required gradient and X Sqm camber including filling in depression and hollow, watering, leveling etc. Complete using power roller exceeding 8 tone and not exceeding 12 tone capacity complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting to the required gradient and camber under optimum moisture conditions to achieve at lease 98% of maximum dry density determined using modified proctore density determination method as per relevant IS code .
9M&L for laying and compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base course (GSB) grading as per Grade V as specified Table 400-1 of MoRTH Specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted sub grade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the sub grade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of at least 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013. complete all as specified and as directed.
10M&L for laying and compacting 200mm thick in two layer 100mm each ( Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for road bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed,graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013.complete all as specified and as directed.
11M&L for providing and laying Dry Lean Concrete (DLC) 150 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less than 7 Mpa. Minimum cement content not less than 140 Kg/Cum DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting using high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achieve minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specified & directed and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013.complete all as specified and as directed.
12Supplying and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm over tack coat /sand cushion as specified in the design with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300mm complete all as specified and directed.
13M&L for 10 mm thick sand cushion with clean river sand duly clear of residual organic and deleterious materials spread evenly to uniform thickness laid over DLC layer as specified and directed . NOTE:No additional amount to be paid for overlap
14M&L for Pavement quality concrete (PQC) of minimum 28 days field flexural strength of 45Kg/cm Sqr or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15 2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 Kg of cement per cum as per IRC-44 (Only 43 grade of OPC in PQC) with non- circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by texturing cum Curing Machine etc including required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10.1.14 and Table- 9 of IRC 15- 2017.complete all as specified and directed
15M&L for forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The join then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS 5212. BS 4254 and EN141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Joint filling operation shall be carried out mechanically by the rep of manufacturer of sealant only.
16M&L for cutting of construction joints 25mm deep and 10mm wide by early entry saw cut using diamond bit curlier of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN- 141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Joint filling operation shall be carried out mechanically by the rep of manufacturer of sealant only.
17M&L for Forming dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1/4th the thickness of the slab, widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris. Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell, medium density. crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 8 mm dia, application of bond breaker tape on top of back up rod for complete width of the joint and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS 5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875- 2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) OF +/-30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.
18M&L for Soil stabilization of 150 mm sub grade soil by uniform mixing of cement OPC 43 grade/lime/other additive@ 5% cement by weight of soil (Percentage of cement/additives for estimation purposes only Type of additive and, percentage required of blending to be given in mix design). Item will include pulverization of soil, spreading of additive, blending mix by tractor towed rotovator, addition of water/ drying of mix to required moisture content and compaction using suitable vibratory roller to required 95% Maximum Dry Density, min K value 5 Kg/Sqcm as per pavement specification. Provisions or IRC SP:89-2010 be referred to for this item complete all as specified and directed. Note: Cement to be paid separately in supply item only & Soil will be used received from excavation.
19Supply only Cement ordinary Portland, Portland pozzolana or Portland slag 50 Kgs cement Bag.complete all as specified and directed.
20M&L for preparation of newly concrete surface and applying two coats of colour road marking paint complete all as specified and directed.
21S&F anodised aluminium powder coated Louver of size (77 mm x 27 mm) made of 16 gauze with aluminium frame size ( 63 mmx 40 mm) made of 16 gauzeetc complete as specified and directed at site.
