1Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of diesel engine driven generating set, 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire as per BS-5514/ IS-10002 complete including automatic on main failure (AMF) panel complete with relay for automatic operation on failure of capacity 200 KVA 160 KW at after considering derating factor confirming to IS-1601 at an altitude of 5500 feet (approx) above MSL and capable of operating between temperature range (-)20 degree centigrade to (+)40 degree centigrade (at Srinagasr, J&K) conditions with acoustic enclosure as per latest CPCB-IV norms and including anti vibration pads of required size as recommended by the manufacturer & comprising of the followings :-
2(A) ENGINE :- Inline engine 6 cylinder, heavy duty, turbocharged and water cooled diesel engine, water cooled with standard integral set, mounted radiator system, suitable for operation at 50 degree celsius ambient temperature, G2 class mechanical governing mechanism all as per BS-5514, IS-3046, 1500 RPM complete with all safety accessories and suitable for generating set application and capable to produce and output of 200 KVA 160 KW at 5500 feet (Approx) altitude above MSL and capable of operating between temperature range (-)20 degree centigrade to (+)40 degree centigrade (at Srinagar, J&K) conditions and sump pre heaters, cold start kit etc., complete all as specified and directed with the followings :- (i) Starting System - 12 volts DC electric starter with required 12 Volt 150 AH batteries and charging alternator, engine wiring harness and sensors as required. (ii)Fuel System - Combined unit injectors, mechanical governor & as per IS-1460 replaceable fuel filter elements with primary filter and fuel piping complete with integral fuel tank of minimum capacity suitable for 8 hours running of DG set at full load, providing with drain plug, air vent, inlet & outlet connection, level indicator and provision for cleaning.
3(iii) Lube Oil System - Lube oil circulation pump with safety valve, lube oil filter, lube oil cooler, oil filler neck and oil dipstick for measurement, open crankcase venting system etc. (iv) Combusion Air System - Exhaust turbocharger, charge air cooler mounted on engine, exhaust flexible bellows, residential type exhaust silencers and extended silencer pipe of same size upto 1.0 mtr duly insulated and aluminium cladded as directed. (v)Cooling System - Gear driven coolant pump required for both jacket and intercooler along with necessary pipings on the engine. Water pump should have suitable capacity to circulate cooling water to radiator mounted on the DG acoustic enclosure. (vi) Engine Mounting - Engine mounting bracket with AVM pads mounted below base frame housing engine and alternator. (vii) Alignment and Fuel tank - Alternator and engine alinged on a common 14 SWG CRCA MS base frame complete with MS fuel tank, fabricated out of 14 SWG CRCA MS sheet and is part of base frame.
4(B) ALTERNATOR :- Self regulated self exited brushless alternator, 415 V, 3 Phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 200 KVA 160 KW at 0.8 PF, 1500 RPM with voltage variation plus or minus 10% of rated voltage from no-load to full load, foot mounted, screen protected drip proof type with class `H" insulation with IP-23 ingress protection, ball/ roller bearings at both ends of the alternator shaft with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers with the followings :- (i) Engine Control Panel - Electronic controller for indicating engine parameters, emergency stop push button, genset monitoring and display of engine alternator parameters and alarms, genset protection against critical operating parameters, automatic start sequence control, acquisition and display of plant related measuring data. Features : Auto and Manual Start / Stop, Easy accessible. Display Engine Parameters - RPM, oil pressure coolant, temperature, hour meter, battery volts, battery charging voltage, running status, event recording, fault code display. Electrical Parameters - Voltage, Current, Hz, KW, KVA, PF, KWH and KVAR, Breaker status. Engine Protection - High/ low coolent temperature, low lube oil pressure, engine over speed shutdown. Electrical Protection - Overcurrent, short circuit, under/over frequency, under/over voltage.
5(ii)AMF Panel - Floor mounted, vertical, totally enclosed cubical with canopy, indoor type dust and vermin proof, standard industrial pattern, factory fabricated out of 2mm thick CRCA steel sheet painted with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of powder coating of approved colour complete with all mounting stuctures, insulators, bolts, nuts, washers etc. with necessary control wiring/ internal connections with proper size of copper conductor cables/ strips, suitable for 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 415 Volts AC system, comprising of micrprocessor based AMF relay unit with sensing on mains and DG with necessary protection, suitable rating HRC Fuses, suitable 4 pole power contactor of suitable amps for mains and DG supply auto load charger, frequency meter, push button for start/ stop/ reset, LED type indicating lamps as required, SMPS based battery charger with automatic float & boost changeover facility, control circuit fuses, reverse power relay, alarm for high water lube oil temp and low lub oil pressure, any control devices/ measuring instruments recommended required as per latest engineering practices complete with cable glands with gland plate for cable entry, control cabling with copper conductor armoured multi-core cables of required cross sectional area from DG set to control panel all prewired and suitable for 200 KVA 160 KW DG Set.
6(iii) Acoustic Enclosure - The engine and alternator will be coupled aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from 16 SWG CRCA MS sheets / channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom, drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads. Outdoor acoustic enclosure to be provided as per CPCB-IV norms. Acoustic base frame shall be fabricated using sheet/ ISMC channels with adequate stiffeners for strength. Should be fabricated with specially formed CRCA sheet with adequate stiffeners for strength. Door construction should be prefabricated CRCA sheet with double stepped formation. Doors to be fixed to main frame by hinges. Suitable sealing given at all the panel joints to avoid the sound & water leakage. The acoustic enclosure panels shall be powder coated using minimum of 9 tank process which should include intermediate rinsing modes between each step. (iv) First fill of premix corrosion inhibitor coolant. (v)First fill of lube oil should be supplied alongwith DG set. (vi) First set of fuel filter, air filter, lube oil filters etc. and consumables should be part of DG Set supply. (vii) Any other devices/ accessories required as per latest engineering practices as recommended/ supplied by the manufacturers as standard equipment.
7(viii) Documents - Two sets of following documents :- (aa) Maintenance and Operation manuals for engine and alternator, Spare parts catalogue, Warranty/ Test certificates, Wiring Schematic diagrams of control panels. (ix) DG Sets shall be tested for duration of 12 & half Hrs at site using load bank. Cost of load bank, diesel control cables the length between DG AMF panel and DG set can be taken as max fo 30 mtrs and all auxillaries required for testing at site shall deemed to be include in the quoted rates. (x) Maintenance Spares :- (aa) Fuel filter element - 02 Nos (ab) Oil filter element - 03 Nos (ac) Element air cleaner outer - 06 Nos (ad) Element air cleaner inner - 06 Nos (ae) `V" belt - 02 Nos (af) Filter lubricant oil by pass - 02 Nos. Notes :- (a) The technical details and drawings of DG Set with all control panels should be taken approvals from Accepting Officer before the procurements/ manufacturing from OEM
8Supply, laying, commissioning & testing XLPE LT cable, 1100 volts grade, PVC insulated, heavy duty, armoured, multistrandedaluminium conductor cable of size 185 Sqmm 4 Core, laid in trenches, fixing on wall/ poles, under road crossing etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work, sand cushioning and brick covering shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ.
9Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation, laying of cables, erection of poles, stays etc. and getting out in soft/ loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
10Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.
11Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
12M&L for dry river sand, laid in trenches for cable protection, as 15cm thick below the cable and 8cm thick above the cable, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid.
13M&L for sub class "B"brick, old size, as in coverings, protection to the eletric cable, laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equal to length of brick, complete all as specified and directed.
14M&L for earthing complete with GI steel earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick, burried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to the galvanised iron strip of size 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised steel, connected to earthing test point with and including necessary excavation and earthwork and earth electrode, earthing lead from electrode to equipments, adequated quantity of charcoal dust and common salt, test point, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate), 40mm thick RCC (type B-1) cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar both ways with 12mm dia round bar handle and 20mm bore GI light grade watering pipe with funnel and wiremesh and 40mm bore GI pipe light grade for protection of earth lead upto equipments max length 7.5 mtr, complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 5 of MES SSR Part-I (2009) and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :- On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained, the contrator shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.
15M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as foundation, filling in, mass concrete etc. including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and directed.
16M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as foundation, filling in, mass concrete etc. including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and directed.
17M&L for brick work with sub class "B" bricks, old size, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 Mtr mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6, complete all as specified and directed.
18M&L for 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.
19M&L for covered shed with PGI sheets (pre-painted galvalume iron sheet) as in roof top on 02 Nos MS angle iron (size of angle 65x65x6mm) trussess of size 4.5 Mtr x 3.5 Mtr over the PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundation of size 4.5 Mtr x 3.5 Mtr x 0.60 Mtr, finishing the surface even and smooth and erecting 04 Nos 80mm bore MS tubular pipe of heavy grade having minimum height 4.0 Mtr including well grouted in foundation with and including 06 Nos purlins and 04 Nos angle iron to hold the tubular pipes and PGI sheets fencing of required size over the trussess, purlins and paiting with two coats of sythetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces after preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
