| 9 | Boring using hydraulic auger boring machine/ percussion drilling using DMC/ tractor mounted rotary drilling machine for the installation of bored cast in-situ RCC pile using M30 grade concrete (including cost of concrete) having min. cement content of not less than 400Kg/m3 with 20mm nomnal size hard granite broken stone as per the relevant IS codes and as per the standard practice as approved by the Engineer in charge. The depth of pile shall be approximately 25m in depth and 550 mm in diameter. The rate shall include boring, cost of bentonite, disposal of muck and slurry, cost of concrete, flushing the bore hole to the required time of fabrication and installation of reinforcement, charges for the temporary casing pipe etc. all complete excluding the cost of reinforcement. The cost shall also include necessary works for the concrete overflow to flush out the mud as per IS specification. The pile will be measured only from the cut-off level and pile shall be cast 0.90m above the cut-off level for pile chipping. (cost of 0.90m pile for chipping is considered in the rate). The reinforcement shall be extended for inserting to the pile cap and will be measured in Item No. 5. All works shall be carried out as directed by CSL confirming to the relevant Indian Standards. |
| 10 | Chipping of concrete above the cut-off level of pile by manual/meachanical means including disposing the demolished concrete and bending the reinforcement to lap with pile cap after cleaning etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. |
