| 3 | Note for Item No. 1 & 2:- (a) Contractor shall supply water in hygienically neat and clean water bowser free from dust, dirt and scales. (b) Water bowser to be used for carrying potable water shall be painted with EPI coating internally. (c ) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include filling in mobile tankers, transportation and delivery of potable water in Coast Guard area at Haddo at various locations as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (d) The unit rate quoted shall deem to include for required T&P like lift pump, hose pipe, valves, tools and plants for filling the water. (e) Necessary safety precautions for transportation of fresh water to delivery site & back to filling station complete will be the Contractor"s responsibility and any damage caused to the installation or buildings during transport shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost and no claim shall be entertained. (f) The contractor has to visit the MES installations before quoting the tender. (g) If the test results of potable water get done by a Government recognised laboratory do not comply to any of the parameters given in Particluar Specifications and found to be unstaisfactory and not within permissible limits, a penalty @ Rs. 1500 /- per ton (1000 litres) of total water supplied during last fortnight from the date of rejection of sample shall be levied from the payments due to Contractor. (h) Contractor shall have minimum 04 Numbers water bowser vehicles with own / authorized by a single owner registration and relevant registration certificate & permit copy shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for obtaining necessary security pass / entry pass. (j)Contractor shall be produce CGWA clearance, valid license, ISO 9001 & 2015 water test certificate and also produce the experience certificate to similar type of work. |
| 4 | Testing of water as per Table 1 Organoleptic and Physical parameters and bacteriological characteristics of IS-10500-2012 and in a Govt approved laboratory and submit test report to prove the quality of water. |
| 5 | Testing of water for all parameters as per IS 10500-2012 in a Govt approved laboratory all as specified and directed. Water to be tested as per Table 1 to 6 IS 10500-2012 for general parameters concerning substances undesirable in excessive amount, parameters concerning toxic substances, parameters concerning radio active substances, pesticide residues limitr and test method and bacteorogical quality of drinking water as per IS 10500-2012 in Govt approved NABL laboratory all as specified and directed. Sample of water shall be taken jointly by the representative of Engineer-in-Charge and the contractor from the approved source of supply. |
