5Laying in hard rock strata defined as follows: Hard rock/ large boulders encountered during excavation exceeding hard rock thickness of 300 MM and continuous length of minimum 1000 MM and removable only by chisel/ pneumatic chisel/ jack hammer as per the specification and direction of EIC. Additional depth to be maintained to accommodate sand/ soft soil bedding & padding. Decision of Hard rock breaking & excavation shall be taken if other options are not available. If the rock is encountered at a depth where minimum cover as per PNGRB can be maintained with approved less cover protection, rock excavation to be avoided. In above item, backfilling of pipeline trench by borrowed select soil duly approved by Owner/ EIC in included in this item. Supply of specified and approved quality fine sand free from any impurities like clay, mica and soft flaky pieces as per instruction of EIC, borrowed foreign soft graded soil/ sand in place of available excavated material and/ or other suitable soil as per applicable standards/ specifications, including backfilling of excavated trench for specified length after laying and padding of pipeline, including transportation of such special backfill material over all distances. No separate payment for rock excavation/ breaking/ sand bedding/ padding etc shall be made. Contractor to take due care while quoting for pipeline laying in rocky terrain.
6Installation of Gl sleeves, 2.5" NB x 300 mm length pipe sleeve/ half round concrete sleeves for domestic connections, 3" NB x 300 mm length Gl sleeve for commercial and industrial installations, excavation, breaking through any obstructions, insertion of pipe, sealing the annulus, fixing of the sleeves/RCC Half Round Guard with concrete mix, preparation of pedestal & restoration of excavated pits within the size of pedestal & the same pit with the laying of 20/32 mm dia MDPE pipe as defined in scope of work, technical specification and instruction of ElC/ SIC.
7Carrying out GIS Data Collection & Entry at every 12 meters, Pipe fittings / Cut Points /Joints/Crossings/Valves/SR etc. (Latitude / Longitude) With attributes as per satisfaction of Owner and / Or as directed by Engineer I/C. Submission of Data in the GIs format of. Shp,. Kml. Accuracy of the collection of assets / Cut points/ Joints to be in accuracy to be maintained 30cm -60cm. Using Hardware Components like - GNSS Receiver’s - Arrow 100 GNSS Receiver / Spectra Precision Sp20 Receiver / Trimble R2 / Trimble R1 Receiver having Capability to get submeter accuracy 30cm -50cm or better with Indian SBAS-GAGAN Satellite or RTK in Real-time along with Field replaceable Battery in the device. Software Components - Data collection via Mobile application: To digitize the collection of data during construction and provide real-time data in the field.
8Flushing, cleaning, pneumatic testing, purging with nitrogen and commissioning as per scope of work, specification and approved procedures providing all tools and tackles, nitrogen, instruments, manpower and other related accessories and as perinstructions of the EIC/ SIC. Maintaining the completed pipelines/ installation for any defect, failures during defect liability period.
9Handing over the completed works to owner for their operation/ use, returning of all surplus material to owner stores, reconciliation of free issue material area wise and obtaining no objection certificate.
10On completion of gas charging of pipelines, preparation and submission of as-built drawings, crossings details, termination, utility graphs and deviation statements. Submission of all documents required for contract closure in numbers as mentioned in contract.
11In case more than 1 MDPE pipelines are laid in a common trench, SOR rate of higher dia plus 1/3rd SOR rate of lower dia will be paid.

43Layingas per standard drawings; it includes survey of the under ground utilities,execution of the work as per specification, including excavation of pits,. jointing and insertion of the carrier pipe in casing pipe (on case to case basis) and subsequent padding with soft soil, laying of warning mat in open trench only, backfilling, compaction, submission ofas built drawing, as graphs as per attached specificationand instruction of ElC / Site Engineer of Owner. Includes laying of pipeline in all type of surface including Kutcha, metal, concrete (PCC/RCC), bituminous, tiled, brick lined etc. after raking up of hard surface of any type; Roads, Pavement, Footpaths etc. shall be made motorable once the pipeline is laid.. These rates are not applicable forprivate lands i.e. apartments/ institutions etc.

69Restoration to original conditions surface like bituminous/ asphalted road, concrete pavement, RCC pavements, tiles/ slabs/ blocks/ curb stones/ Agra/ Kota stones (chequered/ interlocking etc.), brick lining/ channels pavement as per the scope of work, technical specifications after laying of pipeline in built-up surface, as per the directions of EIC/SIC. Scope includes providing of the approved quality material, testing of materials by third party agencies as per scope of work, technical specification/ CPWD/ IRC standards, submission of the restoration reports, obtaining no objection certificates from the concern local authorities/ statutory authorities/ land owners/ third party inspection agencies designated by land owing agencies and owner. RCC and PCC restoration shall be paid through miscellaneous SOR as per actual.

Excluding only Supply of GI pipes of all dia.,GI fittings, Isolation valve, appliance valve,brass adopter Anaconda, Meters,Regulators,Suraksha hose pipe with clamps,GI sleeves, & GI fittings which shall be issued by Owner as FIM.

91Drilling of holes through walls with proper heavy duty hammer drill Machine, tools & tackles, using proper sealant/ grout material & colours to match original, replacement of damages during drilling, restoring the area to original condition to the satisfaction of Owner/ EIC & as per specification for 1/2" & 1" NB in brick wall and RCC wall. PVC sleeve with proper sealant to be provided in the drilled section to protect GI pipe.
92All above activities to be carried out as per scope of work, specifications and to the complete satisfaction of consumer & EIC/ SIC.

97Installation of powder coated GI riser of 1” & ½” from TF to Riser Isolation Valve, from Riser Isolation Valve upto lateral Isolation Valve by providing plug at all levels upto all floors including supply and fixing of all type of pipe supports/ clamps/ brackets.
98Installation of Welded powder coated GI/ MS riser at all length in buidlings above 8 floors and confined spaces like basements by using forged fittings confirming to IS 1239 - Part 2, duly polyester powder coated with 70 micron thickness. GI pipe & required fittings shall be first coupled with threaded joint. Teflon/PTFE tape should not be used in threaded joint for welded riser. Alternatively, plain ended pipes and fittings can also be used for welding in welded riser.The entire riser shall be constructed with SOCKET weld only, threaded joints are permitted only on the laterals on account of workability & for future maintenance only. The electrodes (Welding Rods) used for welding on risers shall be of E 6013 grade & 2.5mm thickness of reputed make used for industrial application. The Vendor is required to provide the Batch TestCertificate (TC) for the electrodes. The Weld joint shall be thoroughly cleaned with wire brush and examined visually for its quality. Welding shall be free from defects like porosity, crack, undercut, incomplete fusion etc. Spatter, slag must be removed from pipe.

129Supply fabrication and erection of all types of pipe supports like clamps, saddle, guide, stops, cradles, neoprene sheet, turn buckles, anchors, T-posts, stockade/ trestle and pipe bridge for overhead piping, frames for canopy, approach ladders and platforms, crossover, cable tray supports etc, including painting suitable for highly corrosive area as per specification, labour and supervision & complete work as per drawing, specifications and instructions of EIC/ SIC.
130All handling and transport charges of raw materials and fabricated structures including double handling, as required, for completion of work in accordance with time schedule, are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
131The DRS/ MRS shall be suitably earthed as per the IS 3043.The Earthing pit also to be constructed as per the required specification.

138All civil works including excavation of pit, piping supports including best grade bricks used for all walls, PCC and RCC works required for valves pit base & top cover, internal surface plaster, primer & paint coatings on walls, cat ladders & pedestals with insert plates as required sealing of pipe at valve pits, providing metal cover with locking arrangement etc and finishing, clean up and restoration of site, filling and grading of area around the valve station to avoid any local water/ sewage flooding of that area, with provision of separate metalhandle to operate valves from above ground as per the approved for construction drawings and specifications as per instruction of EIC/ SIC.
139Earth work in excavation and filling to the grades and levels shown in the approved drawings in all kinds of soil including for road embankments, using approved quality good earth from designated borrow area, for all heights and depths including clearing and stripping (Min. 150 mm) of the area marked for filling, taking spot levels, consolidating the exposed natural soil surface, excavating the earth from borrow area loading, transporting & unloading, spreading in layers not exceeding 150 mm thickness, breaking clods, watering (if reqd.), ramming and compacting by manual/ mechanical means to give minimum 95% of modified Proctor"s density of earth, testing & dressing including disposal of all unserviceable material all complete as per specifications and directions of EIC/ SIC. Rate to include cost of labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, cost of borrow earth by way of realities, right of way, cess etc., as applicable with all by works and sundry works.
140Supplying and laying plain cement concrete (including shuttering of required) in all types of concrete works including levelling courses below foundation, substructure, superstructure, chambers, cable trench, under floors and any other locations, at all levels as per drawings, specifications and directions of EIC/ SIC.
141Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete of grade M-20 with 20 mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in all types of structures like foundations, pedestals, pedestal bases, pipe supports, sleepers cable trench including construction joints, bitumen painting on surface in contact with soil, providing and fixing reinforcing steel, shuttering, inserts, finishes etc. at all depths and heights complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of the EIC/ SIC.
142Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials, such as minimum 43 grade cement including sulphate resistant cement for sub structures, R/F steel, Inserts, bolts, conduits, bitumen, other minor construction materials, shuttering tanging, earth work in excavation and backfilling using serviceable earth in all conditions shorting bailing and pumping out water, testing of concrete, curing etc. will all bye works and sundry works.
143Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete (M20 Grade) with 20 mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in pavement, including preparation of base (i.e. compacted sub grade, 200 thk sand and 50 thk PCC M-10 grade), leaving pockets if necessary, making recess, projections fixing inserts conduit pipes (GI, PVC, HDPE etc.) laying in alternate panels, filling the gaps between the panels with bitumen etc., making slopes, finishing edge, leaving bars for pedestals & sleepers, including providing sand fill isolation, shuttering providing and fixing reinforcing steel, curing, chipping and modification works etc. as specified in any shape, thickness, position and finishing the top surface smooth as per requirement etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the EIC/ SIC.
144Providing brick work with brick class designation M 5.0 of IS:1077 in cm 1:5 (1 cement 5 sand) in steps, walls, retaining walls and load bearing structures drains, or any shape with all lead, depths & height including curing scaffolding etc., as per specifications and drawings with all bye-woks and direction of the EIC/ SIC.
