NAME OF WORK: REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF LT OH LINE, UG CABLES AND CONNECTED ITEMS OF EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY IN THE AREA OF AGE BR-II UNDER GARRISON ENGINEER AMRITSAR CANTT .

1Material and Labour for prunning and removing of tree branches touching to electric over head lines wild growth around LT /HT over head lines and around pole and stay complete to make clear span of 2 Mtr of tree both sideof the OH line with JCB, Cutter and all tools, plants etc ; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :(i) Distance between pole to pole will be measured and paid. (ii)Contractor has to take outmost care to avoid damage to existing lines/structures. If any breakdown of line is caused during prunning shall be made good without any extra cost. (ii) Prunning of tree to be done twice a year (before & after rainy season)(iii) The contractor has to ensure the proper safety of the tradesmans to avoid any mishappening.If any mishappening occurs the contractor will be solely responsible for it.
2Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5m in depth , for foundation ,etc or for shafts, wells , cesspits, main holes etc.n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 mtr depth and getting out on soft/ lose soil and addedadditional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 mtr; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
3Excavating in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5m in depth , for foundation ,etc or for shafts, wells , cesspits, main holes etc.n exc 10 sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 mtr depth and getting out onhard / dense soil and addedadditional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.5 mtr; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
4Returning, filling in, including spreading , levelling , watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm of any soil; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
5Removing excavated materials(soils) n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

19Material and Labour for making good the damaged Tar Road by using additional stone metal, PCC etc ; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
20Material and Labour for repairs of LT Panel board of any size with replacing the unserviceable MCCB,MCB,switch fuse unit , change over ,Busbar,etc jointig cable with proper lugs ,nut , bolt and washers, cleaning the panel by using of CRC Soluation and repairing thhe panel door by using hinges and repairing the lock system, welding etc painting the LT Panel wit one coat of primer & two coat of synthetic enamel paint as approvedor as per direction of Engr-in-Charge. Note:(i)MCCB,MCB,Switch fuse unit and change over switch measured and paid separately. (ii) Labour for MCCB, MCB, Switch fuse unit and change over switch measured and paid separately. (iii)Rate of newBusbar, panel door, cable gland, lugs,CRC Solution,nut,bolt, paintingetc and washersare deemed to be included in quoted rates.
21Material and Labour for repairs of existing Amp meter (0-300Amp) by digital one along with unserviceable CT if any from existing LT Panel of any size; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
22Material and Labour for repairs of existing Volt meter 0 to 600 volt , digital type from existing LT Panel of any size,; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
23Material and labour forpainting ofLT Steel tubular pole,9 mtr long with two coats ofsynthetic enamel paint including prepartion of surfaces,Scraping the old paint and writingpole No in Black letter under yellow circle; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

25Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick, buried verticallyin ground (Each pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.50 M below normal ground level) connected to GI strip 32 x 6 mm , by means of bolts, nuts, and check nuts and washers etc encased in GI protection pipe 40 mm dia light grade pipe for protection of GI earth strip both to be provided to the extet of 7.5 meters, all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR - 2004 Part - I, GI protection pipe buried in ground, laid under floors / plinths or mixed on walls / pole etc or concealed in walls etc; with provision of mixture of charcoal dust and common salt packed upto minimum 150 mm all around the earth plate, including PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 earth pit with M.S angle iron frame, cast iron cover with locking arrangement, with GI 20 mm dia medium grade pipe and MS funnel with wire mesh for watering arrangement, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil / strata and testing on completion; Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- i) Cost of GI strip 32 x 6 mm and protection pipe 40 mm dia is deemmed to be included in rate quoted ii) Excavation and returning filling of Soil any type is deemed to be included in rates. iii) The earthingdone in presence of JE /E-in-Charge will only be measured. iv) The material required for earthing will be first approved from E-in-charge before bulk procurement
26Material and Labour for checking of HT UG 11 KV XLPE faulty cable with HT UG cable fault locating testing machine, rectifing the fault, putting the jointing kit and charging the cable as all as specified and directed.Approx length 500 RM for each Job.(The rate for excavation, removing of old cable, laying after repairs is demmed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor).
