1Mobilization of vessel, personnel and equipments required for execution of refraction seismic survey work etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.
2Conducting 3D refraction seismic survey covering existing inner harbour basin andapproach channel and harbour basin using continuous refraction seismic profiling system and associated DGPS as per standard specification as directed by Engineer-in-charge.The cost inclusive of required equipments, conducting refraction seismic survey and processing of refraction seismic and multibeam echo sounder data etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.
3Preparation & submission of refraction seismic survey report and drawing containing Geo-technical information of the region, procedures adopted for investigation, field observations, summarized test data, conclusion and recommendations etc., as per standard specification and relevant IS Codes etc., and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.
4Demobilization of vessel, personal and equipments required for execution refraction seismic survey work for execution of etc., as required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, complete.
5Conducting Hydrographic survey covering basin area, channel area and proposed Reclamation areawith the grid of 20m interval. The cost inclusive of Mobilization and de-mobilization of suitable survey vessels, positioning systems (DGPS), navigational and data logging system, multi beam eco sounder along with necessary accessories, equipments for tide measurement etc., to commence and complete the Hydrographic survey as per standard specification including submission of report 5 nos hardcopy and softcopy along with test datas and as directed by departmental officers. The above cost inclusive necessary and insurance for men and machinery. (Port will issue necessary gate passes and entry permit for survey boat at free of cost on production of statutory documents and Port will allow to berth the survey vessel for checking, inspection, calibration of equipment without any cost subject to availability of berth).
6Marine boring 150 mm dia in all soils other than rock of varying depths from existing ground/bed level including necessary equipment viz., pontoon/platform, boring equipment, moving of pontoon/boring equipment from one bore hole location to another bore hole location in port area, demobilisation of pontoon/ platform, boring equipment etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour and materials excluding cost of testing but including measurement of ground/bed levels and ground water levels upto (-) 23.00m from existing bed level
7Extra over and above items-06 for marine boring with double tube core barrel (NX size bore) in soft rock including necessary equipment, tools and plants as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.
8Extra over and above items-06 for marine boring with double tube core barrel (NX size bore) in hard rock including necessary equipment, tools and plants as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.
9Conducting standard penetration test (SPT) as per I.S. at site at an interval of 3.0 morat each strata where the depth of strata is less than 3.0 m in the borings furnishing the test results etc.,as required and asdirected by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.All labour, tools and plants but excluding boring.
10Collecting disturbed soil samples from the borings including transportation of the same from the site to Laboratory preserving the samples intact till they are tested as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete all labour and materials.
11Collecting undisturbed soil samples from the bore holes each strata with thin walled piston samples as per the ISincluding transportation of the same from the site to Laboratory preserving the samples intact till they are tested as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete.All labour and materials.
12Carrying out in-situ vane shear tests as per IS in the boring at an interval of 3.0 m or at each strata where the depth of strata is less than 3.0m in the boring furnishing the test results etc., required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete.All labour, tools and plants but excluding borings.
13Recovery of rock in the core of the bore holes including preserving the samples as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour, tools and plants but excluding borings.
14Conducting laboratory tests to determine Atterberge limits (Liquid Limit and Plastic limit) and moisture content (Natural water content) of the test samples collected by the approved method conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc.,as required anddirected by the Engineer in charge. All labour, materials, tools and plants.
15Conducting laboratory tests to determine the dry and bulk densities of the test samples collected by the approved method conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete. All labour, tools and plant.
16Conducting laboratory tests to determine the specific gravity and void ration of the test samples collected by the approved method conforming to relevant I.S. Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, complete.All Labour tools and plants.
17Carrying out mechanical and hydrometer analysis of the test samples in laboratory collected by the approved method conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Complete.All labour and materials, tools and plant etc., (for all disturbed and undisturbed samples)

20Carrying out tri-axial compression test as per IS for determination of shear strength parameters of soil including determination of moisture content and density of each specimen furnishing the test results etc.,as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete. 22Consolidated Un-drained test with the measurements of pore water pressure (for all U.D samples)
23Preparing trimming and carrying out crushing strength on the test samples by any approved method conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete.All labour, tools and plants.

27Conducting un-drained shear box test for determination of shear strength parameters of soils by any approved method conforming to relevant I.S. Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete. All labour, tools and plants.
28Carrying out confined compression test on the samples in Laboratory by any approved method conforming to relevant I.S. Code furnishing the test results etc.,as required and asdirected by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour, tools and plants.
29Conducting consolidated drained shear box test for determination of shear strength parameters of soils by any approved method conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete.All labour, materials tools and plants.
30Conducting Laboratory Chemical test for determination of PH –value, Sulphates, Chlorides and Salinity etc., conforming to relevant IS Code furnishing the test results etc.,as required and asdirected by the Engineer-in-charge, complete. All labour, tools and plants.(For all marine bores).

34Preparation and submission of soil reports after interpretation of data from the field and laboratory tests including all test results such as C,N,RQD values, etc., for the total work with necessary progress photos, plan showing the location of bore holes with reference points, etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete. (10 copies of soil reports to be submitted)
