| 11 | M&L for pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) work in pavement of flexural strength 45 kg/sqcm (Lover control limit-LMC) in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre or as per design mix, mixed with and including triangular/non circular synthetic polyster reinforcedment @ 0.25% by weight of cement spread and compacted by using slip form paver, thickness of concrete 30 cm or less, all as specified and directed including necessary form work, bull nosing / rounding off edges, finishing by mechanical brooming/ belting curing etc complete. Note :- (a) construction joints/ dummy (construction) joints and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (b) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quanitity of cement than the minimum is used / approved based on mix design in the execution of work under this item. (c) Cost of admixtures, fibre to maintain as required by design mix is deemed to be included in the rate quoted. (d) Maximum cement contant shall be 425 kg/Cum and as design mix shall be based on the same complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 12 | M & L Forming 25 mm width expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of POC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size. straight and smooth edges. Join cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil , vegetation and other debris. The join then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick Compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linkedpolyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of+/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacture complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 13 | M&L Forming dummy/contraction joint with an initial saw cut of 3 mm soon after the concrete has set, upto a depth of 1/3rd to 1 /4th the thickness of the slab widening the first saw cut to 6 mm and 24 mm deep by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size straight and smooth edges Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. | 16 | Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retroreflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm.
